We have an additional scene as well as yootube and the "Freundinnen" one in the Database. In other words, stand by for the passaround clip. Kinky-napper, thanks a lot. Again I totally forgot about The Lady Vanishes even though I have it on dvd. I've heard of Walter Mitty but never saw it. I'll check it out for sure.
Pat, the Tarzan movie sounds promising, thank you. Rich, thanks for the pointer. I tried searching but was not successful. I appreciate it. |

with regards to prison break i read an interview with Holly Valance (formerly Flick Scully in neighbours) who says for the new series of prison break she had to film a scene with a gun being held to her head. A long shot (no pun intended) but a possible DID scene for her |

Awesome that you put the entire scene. However can anyone upload it somewhere other then Rapidshare. That site does not work for me at all and I know others have had the same problem. Big thanks if anyone could and thanks to Panty for putting the scene up :)

It's difficult to ask for much more: really hot damsel -- scantily clad, at that (those legs!) -- tied hands behind back on-screen, and gagged on-screen as well. The best part is the villain's handgag over the tapegag as he forces her to lie down. I'm sure we could all complain that it's not long enough, but, then, how many scenes ARE long enough for us? Thanks, Raffish! |

Thursday August 31 14:45:50 2006 Update Changes |
We were caught unawares by Andrew's upload of the same scene from 'Machined' that we planned to feature - thus we're forced to change our video update.
Unfortunately, we also have no capacity to edit clips while on the road - so have to upload the full version of the movie 'Spine' (it's 43.5 MB unfortunately) Downloaders can grab this beginning 12:01 Eastern Time (North America) Dialup users should of course do this overnight. |

You have to like a series where a hot brunette regularly has a shower scene, wears skintight clothing, no clothing, is chained up, and shoots full auto weapons. Not to mention a hot blonde with wears skintight clothing, no clothing, is chained up, and shoots full auto weapons. Spoiler space Next week, Chase and Krista may have a make out scene together, at from the previews. |

Thursday August 31 17:49:28 2006 The end of the DID as we know it |
Watching Blade last night, I must say, I tried to get into it because it's a show that tries, but ultimately I'd have to say it was pretty much a turn off. As is any number of disturbing, violent scenes in recent years; Wrong Turn, Saw, Joyride, House of Wax, Blade the Series, CSI type shows etc. Sure, the soaps still hold out hope but there hasn't been a really fun scene on TV, at the level of say "Parting Gifts" Angel (Dec 99), in many a year.
You see, for me it's about "Distress" not ultra violent terror, grim death, blood, grime, darkness, frozen fear, and dare I say, gray duct tape. Yeah, I'm old school, Avengers, Man From Uncle, Superman, Batman, It Takes a Thief, The Saint, hell, even Lois and Clark. Is there anything remotely like these shows on TV anymore? Smallville, maybe a bit. Look, I appreciate Alias and Lost for their rare scenes and I think there are more scenes today than ever before but it's the quality of the scenes I'm writing of, the context, the nature of fun and adventure that seems lost to the past. Where is a show like Cliffhangers, Stop Susan Williams, 1979? Not that it had any scenes in it, but still, good idea. I'm afraid it's mostly gritty realism now, though there are people here who point it out and give warnings (that's appreciated). Sorry if it sounds like I'm nostalgic; I'm not really, I think I just wanted to say that Blade last night sucked for me, and I wanted to say why. |

---- Well, if you can overlook the gray duct tape, arguably the best two TV scenes thus far for 2006 have been Lifetime's "Ties that Bind" (2006) and "Platinum Rush". There were two Wish-list damsels (Nicole de Boer; Kellie Martin) in their first B&g scenes, and Lifetime's formulaic plots are so over-the-top that even the actors likely have a number of giggle-fit outtakes. |

The point that "Hostel"/"Saw"/"Machine"-type DiD-scenes are actually *snuff*-scenes & thus are uninteresting is well taken. The point that there has been a spate of nice (IMHO) recent DiD-scenes is also well taken. The truth is, the people who make movies & TV, with notable exceptions, are largely clueless, *hopelessly* imitative, & talentless. Imagine a TV series about some detectives (say... Amanda Tapping, Lake Bell, & Catherine Bell) assigned to protect a millionaire's wife (Carey Lowell) & their daughter (Michelle Trachtenberg) from a crazy criminal mastermind (Marcia Cross). As the season progresses, we learn why Cross' character hates the millionaire, various people are captured, rescued, escape, etc., & we watch as the detectives uncover the clues revealing that their adversary is constructing a series of cruel & hideous deathtraps. As the season comes to an end, there's a clever twist (TBD), the wife *&* daughter are captured, & Our Heroines rush to the rescue! There, you see? It *is* possible to mix the "fashionable" horror-machine stuff with the DiD format. The problem, of course is... the people who make movies & TV, with notable exceptions, are largely clueless, *hopelessly* imitative, & talentless. |

Van, I'm surprised at you. Using ad hominems to support your arguement. Shameful! |
Thursday August 31 20:32:25 2006 Sheesh |
Lifetime, in their finite wisdom, lists two movies for tonight at 9 PM....one is "Truth", which has a scene, and "Plain Truth", which does not. I guess the reason for their confusion is obvious. The movie that's going to be actually shown is "Plain Truth" (I think). |

Thursday August 31 21:38:44 2006 MTV music awards |
I had a note on my calender to keep an eye on tonite's MTV Music Awards for a possible scene but that note was put on there like a month & a half ago. Apparently there was some discusisn back then about something maybe happening on tonites' awards show but I have no idea what the possible alert was for. Does anyone recall some possible bondage scene that might occur on the MTV Music Awards tonite?

I didn't say you were debating TV producers but, calling them "talentless" and "clueless" because they are not doing what you'd like them is a personal attack on them. You only attack them. You are not providing any alternate reasons why they may not be doing what you you'd like to see - thus an ad hominem. The Paris Hilton reference as I read it is flawed in that Paris Hilton is a blonde (at least right now) and that can be proven with photo after photo. There could be a million reasons why producers are not able to provide what you consider to be good product and when you say it's only because they are incompetent, it is an ad hominem.

Van, you don't have to get upset. I'm not trying to be confrontational. I like your stuff. You add a lot to this site and I've enjoyed your previous sites.
I do recognize sarcasm, but I didn't want to assume you were being sarcastic. I don't know you well enough to do that. To me it's like assuming someone you don't know is pregnant. You don't want to make that mistake. I think that some people are quick to blame producers for the perceived lack of good TV shows when that is not necessarily the case. I don't know if you have ever been involved with the TV development process, but I have. I've seen many times when a producer had what I thought was a good idea. However after sales and marketing and other departments get through with it, it is not the same show at all. What's a producer to do? He wants his show on the air but to do it he has to make sacrifices. Most producers don't have the clout of a John Wells so they do what they have to do. In the end the producer gets all the blame when he would be the first to admit that "his" show is not really "his" show at all. |
Thursday August 31 23:44:32 2006 Passions - Brandi Burkhardt Scene |
Well, I haven't seen anybody post this yet so I figured I would oblige. She's cute, pretty nice gag and there you go. I just can't help but say that this show is unequivocally the worst soap on TV. It is so pathetic that it makes other soaps look like stellar achievements. I had to pull the straight-razor away from my neck several times in the short moments it took to edit this down. I weep for anybody that watches this show for real. Yikes!
Enjoy the clip! |
