This one: Record number: 5088 Title: Neighbours Medium: Soap Opera Actress: Melissa Bell Description: Melissa play's Lucy Robinson who is lured to a strange man's house after spraining her ankle. It turns out she's a dead ringer for his ex-girlfriend and he holds her hostage in his home hoping to persuade her to 'come back to him'. He locks her in a back bedroom and forces her to wear a pink wedding dress. After she attempts to escape he sits her in a wooden chair and ties her to it with strips of pink sheet. Her wrists are tied to the chair arms, ankles to chair legs.Another strip of sheet is tied in her hair like a ribbon She begs him to let her go and eventually tiring of her whining he takes the strip from her hair and ties it between her teeth, the knot is tied between her teeth. Later the gag is removed and the man tries to feed her toast. When the doorbell rings he forces the gag back into her mouth and goes to answer the door. It is Lucy's friend at the door looking for her, the kidnapper sends him away and returns to menace Lucy some more. But then the friend finds Lucy's earing and calls again, tackling the man and over powering him. He find's Lucy and unties her removing first the gag then her wrist and finally ankle bonds Have this clip in the old library somewhere. |

This inspired Japanese weirdness cracks me up. Yes, I'm twelve. By strange coincidence, I clipped this scene just the other day. If you don't get G4, you can still see below and find out if you're twelve too. (QuickTime 7 required.) |

She was tied to a chair with what looked like scotch tape and a black tape gag to see how long it would take her to free herself and answer a ringing phone.9 seconds! To bad they didn't do a better job tying her. Asian media seems to be light-years ahead of the US in terms of what is "politically correct". You'd never see this type of thing on any game show here. But why? It's not as if the women are unwilling..its a game! They seem to enjoy it as much as the viewers enjoy watching them. Puritanical codes of "ethics" continue to prevail I guess. |

That presumes the movie was ever made. There are many reasons why movies that are started end abruptly. No title was mentioned in Mira's anecdote. |

Nothing to do with the ethics, but I thought I would point out that Banzai has nothing to do with Asian Media anyway.
It is a Channel 4 show produced in the U.K and the DID in the scene being referred to is in fact Sophie Lawrence who used to be in the popular UK soap Eastenders. Also, I would have estimated that she may have been in her early thirties at the time - hardly middle aged |

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone caught the latest Mystery Woman movie with Kellie Martin Saturday night and if it had anything in it at all. Thanks. |

If the blatantly fake accents of the presenters, speaking in English already, didn't make that spoofy nature obvious to some viewers, those viewers really are only looking out for one thing! |

Using the IDMB website lists "The Missing" has four captive girls as their acting debuts: Heather Gulas, Molly McAlister, Aura-Jensen Curtis, and Shelly Kocurek. |

Humourous thing, don't consider the "strap-to-chair and pull under the water spout" for wrong answers to Brian R's standards, but there definite interest. However, only had to make one clip for interested in United States and it pointed out the "Wet t-shirt time" fans running whole eps up on Youtube site ;) |

Dunno, mate - I never saw that. In fact, I missed the relevant ep of "Banzai", and now I can't even receive Channels 4 or 5, just the Welsh S4C. From the bits of eps I saw, "Banzai" got the level of garish outrageousness just right. |

The promos were showing someone getting injected and handgagged, but they must have been prior Mystery Woman movies, because there was nothing in this one. Thank goodness we got Kellie Martin tape-gagged in the Lifetime movie. These are really frustrating to watch. Even a scene with her female attorney pal would be nice. |

Actually, she has a few pretty good lines. She's pretty snarly to Sinatra, who is "just trying to be nice." Pretty leggy, too. |

Sunday August 20 13:26:32 2006 Book DID |
I came across this one in a recently released paperback.
Title: "Blown" Author: Francine Matthews Near the end of the book, a main female character gets taped up. Including a wrap-around tape gag. This is an espionage thriller. The book is well written, with an interesting plot. The DID scene was icing on the cake. |

I know a ticket has been put in, but the response time on this site is still very slow. It used to be about the fastest of any until a few weeks ago. |

Sunday August 20 18:51:14 2006 database entries |
No to complain but in the past couple days, both these mmovies, "Twisted Sisters" and "Machined" have been mentioned as having scenes (someone even posted pics from "Twisted Sisters") but there is no database entry for either.
I just rented both & will compose an entry for each but I was hoping whoever had originally mentioned them would have done it (since they've obviously seen both movies) so could just go right to the scenes & not have to scan thru the entire movies. C'mon guys, let's help each other out here! |

Yeah, I know what you mean, I've seen some movies that are mentioned here, often several posts worth, and then you find no entry even though you know that at least one person HAS seen the movie. I've rented movies I'd read about, and once I pop 'em in the DVD player I find no database entry for it & I have to scan the entire movie to find the scene (which isn't so bad, unless you find it's a tiny, blink-and--you-miss-it scene that an entry would have REALLY been helpful in having!). However, remember that not everyone has the time or inclination to compose a database entry for every movie they find that has a bondage scene (in a perfect world, yes that would be the case but unfortunately, life ain't so!), but I figure at least they go to the effort of mentioning the movie HAS a scene & we know which movie to go rent, so I guess that's still a big help to us. Actually, I'd not heard about a scene in Machined, so your post helped ME! :-) |

> I'm on the road and can't catch it- wha hoppen? Not a fan of the show, so I just scanned through it. The scene of Nicole lying on her stomach, bound and gagged from the promo occurs in the first few minutes right after Johnny touches the post-it note. The second scene occurs around 23 min in right after they discover the guy watching TV. Nicole is lying on her stomach, hands bound behind her back. She's gagged, but the room is really dark and the gag is quickly removed. There's some conversation that goes on for a minute or two. The third scene occurs around the 33 min mark. Johnny is having one of his visions and sees himself bound and gagged lying next to Nicole. She's unconscious, hands bound in front now and gagged. The unseen kidnapper starts to drage her out by feet before the vision is broken. The fourth scene occurs around the 52 min mark when they find Nicole and rescue her. There's a couple quick closeups of her gagged face. As I said, I'm not fan of the show and won't watch the whole thing, but I didn't see any other scenes |
