| Before I forget, preview at the end of Friday's episode showed Jennifer getting abducted by a couple of guys. However, I should also mention a guy alert since her husband Jack is also abducted.
Since the thugs put bags over Jennifer's head, I'd assume that she'll be at least blindfolded and bound this week. |

| Even though I had the BBC version of this already, I picked up the American release DVD this week.
The American version is edited down to 2 hrs 40 minutes from the original BBC showing (which was 2 90-minute episodes), but based on the DB listing, it looks like the bondage scenes survived intact. I haven't actually had time to watch and compare. However, there is a "making of" feature on the DVD, which includes "bonus footage" of a crew member (the flogging wrangler?) demonstrating for Toby Stephens how to whip the bound Shruti Vyas. We get maybe 30 seconds of her standing, bound AOH, and smiling like a good sport as he gently takes the whip to her. I guess he wasn't a particularly good instructor, though, as the actual whipping scene didn't make it to the final cut. Nothing extra in the deleted scenes, though. |

| Technically these aren't scenes but in some ways, I enjoy them more then actuall bondage scenes because the mmmphing is so good. I'm talking about situations, mostly involving the girl underwater, who tries to communicate but can't and consequently makes some lovely mmphing noises instead. Some examples include:
When Hedy Burress's character from "Cabin By The lake" is first dropped into the water while chained to the brick. As she slowly descends to the bottom you see her move her bound hands about trying to free them and attempting to speak. Some wonderful mmmphing noises there I thought. Another would be when Jessica Alba's and Paul Walker's Characters from "Into Teh Boue" are underwater together and they discover something. Jessica tries to communicate to him but can't and ends up emitting some lovely mmmhing sounds. In, smoe ways, those noises were better then any mmphing she did later on when she was tape gagged. Finally, the scene from Amityville Horror(2005)where Melissa George is underwater while her psyxho housband tries to slice her up with the boat motor. She gargles and mmmph wonderfully while attempting to cry out for help while underwater. If this is of any interest to anyone else, I'd love to hear about other simialr scenarios. And it's not just with girls underwater. It could be a situation where the actress is asked a questino or overhears something and wants to respond but her mouth is full of food or something. Anything like that. Pseudo gags is what you could call them I guess. |

| I hope this is not too far off topic Brian but it seems that this is the community that needs to know. The great site:
theBielSite.com has been closed down. I guess we should have all been expecting this since Clem has done this a number of times. A damsel is tied up and OTM gagged by would-be assassins, and left propped against their car while they go about their business. Judging by vehicles and fashions, it could be just before or not long after the First World War. |

Having checked footage of Paris taxis in WW1, I see they all had right-hand drive, so it may well be a French film, or at least set in France. |

Robin Strasser (who plays "Dorian Lord") is GORGEOUS, regardless of her age (which is 61 years old.) She has never been bound and gagged (as far as we know), but there is always hope. Besides, like many veteran soap opera actresses she might have been bound and gagged in the days before VCRs became common. Perhaps such a lost scene will turn up someday. | Finally saw the promo and here's what they showed. First, an attractive redhead gets hand-gagged. She's later shown from the neck down all bloody and dead, but you can make out a tape-gag on her. Maybe something before she's killed, likely not.
Second, the detective character gets KO'd with a punch to the face. She appeared to be wearing a dark jacket. When they cut to the underground area, she's tied AOH in a red tank-top style of shirt with black pants with some midriff showing. Closeup showed her blindfolded with a necktie and tape-gagged (likely a wrap around) with white packing visible. Next cut showed her still blindfolded with the tape-gag and packing around her neck. I recorded NBC from 8 to 11 to catch this promo, so they likely show it again each night this week. Promo tonight aired around 8:30 p.m. |
