Is the name you gavce the actress name or > the character name, as far as you know? JP, let's see if I can be clearer. The IMdB has this show listed, and includes in the cast a character simply listed as "Girl," with the actress identified as Erin Chenoweth. I've made the assumption that "Girl" is the DiD in the scene, which means Erin is the actress playing the DiD. But this is a deduction, and I could be wrong. I'd suggest a little caution until someone else says, "Hey, guy, nice going, that's absolutely right." Haven't heard anyone say that yet...know what I mean? Still, if Data can play at being Sherlock, why can't I?... Dannysuling |

Thanks for the compliment, Danny, but I think that Gag Triple Crown would be a better name for this award. In major league baseball, the Triple Crown is awarded for success in three different offensive categories, batting average, home runs, and runs batted in. Analogously, the Gag Triple Crown would be awarded to those actresses who have been silenced with three different types of gag. I propose that Gag Hat Trick be an award for a different achievement, namely being bound and gagged five times. In ice hockey, a hat trick is the scoring of three goals by a player. We can adapt this award for our own purposes, and award it to an actress who has been bound and gagged five times. I know that this differs from the hockey term in the amount, but three goals in one game is a major achievement in ice hockey, and being bound and gagged five times is a major milestone in an actress' career. |

However a fantastic series, a well worth watching. |

Tuesday July 25 08:43:55 2006 evolution of tape gag |
I may have got this wrong but it seems from very early films/tv shows up until the lateish 80's the kind of tape gag used was white. Since the late 80's the silver duct tape gag (with very occaisional black or brown for variation) has become ever present. Anyone thing any other tape will take its crown in the future? |

Sure! Works for me. I was associating "Triple Crown" with the horseracing designation, and the analogy didn't work. But the baseballl analogy does. Go for it! |

I think clear duct tape will make some more appearances a la "Firewall", but I think good ol' fashioned silver will remain the predominant tape used in movies and TV shows for awhile mostly because it is more visible on-camera. |

Takes me back to the glorious 70's of which I have so many wonderful and youthful memories, sigh. Hopefully they'll get round to giving the lovely police woman the treatment in the next series as the icing on the cake. |

In one ep, WPC Annie (Liz White)goes into a hostage situation as a nurse, complete with first aid kit and, presumably, lots of bandages and tape. With four cops, including herself, eventually present, you'd think there'd be enough handcuffs and other materials for a great damsel tie scene, but nothing transpired. I swear the writers were tantalising us, implying an imminent cliche then not falling into it. Anyway, one frame was fakable with a few uniform details taken from other frames, so here is what might have been.... The 70s setting, fashions and attitudes are astonishingly convincing. A great retro cop show, except for one thing as far as we are concerned. Let us fervently hope Annie gets the full treatment next season. |

Your post implies you have seen the whole first season and there were no scenes at all for any females; is that correct? Thanks. |

As another Brit who saw this series on transmission there was nothing DID-wise (aside from that ambiguous captive scene in the first episode) I have to add that i wouldn't expect anything from series 2 either. The premise of the show is that a modern day policeman finds himself thrown back to 1973. Because of the ambiguity of the premise (Has he travelled in time? Is he in a coma dreaming?)actor John Simm is in EVERY scene. Therefore the best you can hope for really is for a brief 'rescue' scene or a putz sharing the tie up, either way someone is going to be disapointed |

Tuesday July 25 18:19:07 2006 Re: evolution of tape gag |
The tape gag that I want to see "blow up on the scene" is the tight wraparound medical gauze-like tape gag. It's been rare but the times it has been employed it has turned out great scenes. Plus, this might be a benefit to the damsel since the tape is supposedly nonstick the skin. To me, it appears this gags the damsels most effectively. I have no idea if it does or not since I only have cleavegagged my chicas in the past. |

I also saw that along with the three girls talked about in the movie. The Kristin girl from the MTV show laguna beach is listed on the cast page on yahoo movies. It also says she's doing a thriller/mystery with brittany snow, anybody have any info on this |

I have a recording of the scene in hi-definition and it's pretty clear that it's two overlapping strips. The tape is also a lot thinner than it looks on regular broadcast TV. I always thought it was that white surgical, but it's thinner almost like paper tape. |

This is another scene that was extensively discussed here, but mysteriously never made it into the Database. I'm not going back to the policy of reminding people to make an entry every time they mention a scene they here, but that's what you should do. |
