It is and the story is unmerciful in it's depictions of the acts of brutality that is done to the girl of the title. More brutal than Let's Go Play at the Adams. The book is written in the point of view of one of the girl's tormentors. If you're a fan of great thriller writing, it's a very powerful book. It's very cringe-inducing. It's definitely not a Hollywood-Happy-Ending sort of book. |

For years there've been rumors of a projected film of LGPATA, but nothing has come of it. The subject matter is very infammatory, since this novel is extraordinarily graphic. It'll be interesting to see just how close (or how far) this new film goes in trying to parallel that novel. |

Thursday July 13 01:44:41 2006 Bold And The Beutiful (possibility) |
At the end of Wednesday's episode The teen daughter of Hunter Tylo's character had car trouble. After she spoke to her mom on the phhone for a moment the connection went silent. The camera then shows an unsavory looking dude offering the young woman help and Ms.Tylo panicks as she loses the phone connection. Could turn out to be just a tease but worth taping as this show in not repeated on Soapnet. |

when Blackbeard uttered the classic line... "Lash her to the mison pinrail so uncle harry (and US) can get a good veiw" ---- Hmm, the Scene Database indicates that the beautiful Linda Darnell was lashed to the mizzen mast taffrail. I'm afraid I can't recall which matches the actual line, because: 1) I'm a landlubber, and 2) Like some in the New World, I found a few of Robert Newton's wonderfully over-the-top utterances to be difficult to catch (but not quite as difficult to decipher as say, Ozzy Osbourne). |

Thursday July 13 09:16:07 2006 Re: Pirates 3 |
perhaps they could borrow some of the plot from Roman Polanskis awful film 'pirates' despite being terrible it had a couple of handgags and one tie up and cleave gag scene for Charlotte Lewis. I also seem to remember Walter Matthau attempting some kind of Dick Van Dyke style cockney accent.
Speaking of the lovely Ms. Lewis i found the following scene in the DB: Record number: 4598 Title: Broken Badges Medium: TV Series Actress: Charlotte Lewis Description: Episode: Unknown Dr. Priscilla Mather (Lewis) is grabbed by hooded thugs who invade her apartment and leave her gagged and cuffed hands in front to her bathroom's towel bar. Does anyone know how she was gagged in this scene? hopefully not toilet roll again... |

Thursday July 13 12:44:27 2006 Sleuth Network |
Now on Channel 308 for Directv subscribers. They never tell us when they add channels.
Couple of things to watch for in addition to older shows mentioned before. They are running some short-lived shows that didn't finish their network runs before cancellation. Karen Sisco: Don't bother with this one unless you want to see Carla Gugino looking hot. The unaired episodes were shown on USA Network and there was nothing. EZ Street: Made about 10 episodes. I don't even recall this one with Joe Pantaliano in yet another canceled crime TV series (that's 3 for him in 5 years that didn't make 10 episodes). Female hottie in the cast. LA Dragnet: Hoping for a miracle here. There are 5 episodes from Season 2 unaired. Eva Longoria was one of the detectives in Season 2, but obviously guest stars also possible for scenes. |

Not trying to be a wise-ass but are you aware that most of the clips you've been listing here from the great You tube ran on DiD sites in the last few months? Just saying because you might want to check out the links page on this board so you can get most of these clips in better quality when they appear on those sites and avoid the Youtube conversion issues. |

Out of curiosity, have you tried it on the book in question (Winter's Heart: The Wheel of Time, Book 9)? I ask because for both the hardcover and paperback editions, I got a message indicating that the "search inside" feature had not been activated by the publisher. |

Black glove handgag around 2:30 in, but the boyfriend just jumped the guy, so likely it's over for today. This stalker is the most incompetent guy in daytime in years.
Blair also blew her cover with Spencer and was about to choked out in her nightie on the bed when she stun-gunned him. Todd just walked in, so likely nothing there either. |

Sorry, but I have read a lot of reviews and articles about the film business (since the 60's), and I read LGPATA when it first came out (it was a cheap paperback), and I read, on the web, sites about upcoming movies and possible production rumors and I have never seen or heard one mention of the author or the book LGPATA (except on this site), either as a fan rumor or an actual film studio discussion about making the book into a film. Now, just maybe I missed it, but since I look for those things, and not just in passing, my bet is that it's never been discussed by anyone in the business ever; certainly, at least, not in print. BTW, I would love to be proved wrong. |

Well my first contribution.
Going thru a new issue of Metal Edge magazine, I came across a small photo which lead me to this site. It is for a band called thebleedingalarm and a new cd called Beauty in Destruction. No, I didn't run the words together that seems to be their name. Anyway, cover features a blonde girl in police tape bondage (sort of..) Hope this counts as a DID. http://www.thebleedingalarm.com/ |
