| In the mid-1970s the BBC made a six-part series called "The Fight Against Slavery", a dramatization of the 40-year battle to abolish slavery in the British Empire, which ended successfully in 1833. It was shown on PBS in 1976. The first episode showed the evils of the slave trade. The early part of this episode, filmed on the west African coast, showed the gathering of a shipload of slaves.
The part I remember most vividly (boy, do I ever!) showed a row of about thirty young female slaves, each wearing only a loincloth, marching along a trail roped together at the necks with their hands tied behind them. This wasn't one of your quick pans, such as I've seen in other movies on the same subject. The camera sat by the trail, immobile on its tripod, and patiently filmed the whole procession plodding slowly by. Three things made this scene especially memorable. 1. The young ladies all have enormous boobs. Whether that's how the women are in that neck of the woods, or whether the guy in charge of recruiting extras was a breast man, I don't know, but there they are, all 60 of them. 2. They are all smiling! Here they are being dragged off across the sea into slavery, and they're all so perfectly tickled at appearing on tv that each one looks right into the camera and breaks into a big grin. You can picture the director off-camera screaming and swearing and shooting the scene over and over until they run out of film or the sun goes down and he's forced to go with what he's got. 3. All their hands are tied the same way. Either there was a standard procedure for this (I mean for the filmmakers, not the original slavers), or one guy was assigned all the tying. (Now THERE'S a thought! This guy got to say, 30 times, "Hello. Please take off your top ... Thank you. Very nice. Now please turn around and put your hands behind your back." Whatever they paid that guy for that day's work, it was too much!) Since this was 30 years ago, I was quite a young man, easily impressed by any manifestation of BDSM, and this scene blew my mind. I must have produced a 55-gallon drum of semen over this show. This is just the sort of anti-racist high-minded thing that usually gets shown over and over by PBS, but this was shown just once. The BBC published a companion volume to the series, a copy of which is in a library 2 miles from my house. I've scrutinized every page of that book; not a trace of my scene. I wish somebody would trudge it by me again. If so, I hope it's actually as good as I remember it after all this time. |

She's tape gagged, struggles nicely, tries to dial a phone with her toes, everything you'd want a b&g woman to do that doesn't involve clothes coming off. My late friend Fuzz found me this on a .avi file, and the scene ran for eight minutes (and he edited tightly). But that's all we could get. No VHS copy for full-screen. Ellen Geer is probably wearing sensible shoes now and has corns on her toes. (Sigh). I miss you Fuzz. |

| Easily, the scene with pop star Martika from the television show Wiseguy is at the very top of my list. The scene features Martika, on screen, getting a serious duct tape wrap gag. It's one of those rare on screen applications that isn't just one wrap around her mouth, it's like a half dozen and it's an amazing scene. Unfortunately, it was featured in season four of Wiseguy and that season in particular is never aired because the show was cancelled several epsiodes into the season. I know this scene exists somewhere, but I've never had the opportunity to view it myself. I've just seen a few stills of it and have read about it in the database. |

| I'd never heard of the series until it got a mention in Bondage life but apparantly this is one of the greatest TV scenes ever. Don't know if that makes it a Holy Grail but either way it's a definate must see for this enthusiast.

She is bound and gagged in an abandoned restaurant, a school auditorium, the back of a trailer and finally, the metal stairs at the top of an old power plant. She is a meek and scared captive. Sometimes the school scene, where she sits gagged in the front row while her kidnapper does a vaudeville act, is cut from reruns. |

| I had never heard of YouTube until you guys started posting links to it. Thank you all. Now I have a YouTube account. Unfortunately, someone already took the name "Tapemaster" so I had to settle for "Tapemaster2." That is SO frustrating!
Anyway, in just a couple of days I now have over 200 scenes in my "favorites" list. Sorry, I don't have any videos uploaded yet. All my stuff is on videotape. |

| Big disappointment, and with so much potential. At the beginning we see the bad guy setting out a big roll of duct tape and rope and five women stranded on an island. But this is what we get. At the 10:15 mark three of the girls find a box containing photos of the first two with duct tape on their mouths. Then at 10:30 they find the dead body of the first victim as seen in the promos. Wrapped up in some kind of plastic bag with tape over her mouth, and that's it. We never see the bodies of the other two girls that were kidnapped. Super big ZERO. |

I'd have been waiting outside the store when it opened. As far as my holy grail goes, it would have to be Maria Bello in Mr. and Mrs. Smith from 1991 (the religious cult episode). I was anticipating it for weeks, watching the promos. I was playing a gig in a band that night and FORGOT TO SET THE VCR!! Of course, it was never rerun. GRRR!!!! |
