I very rarely go to the video store anymore, since discovering NetFlix, but I know that used to happen to me occassionally (but usually only for the major blockbusters...I'm surprised a movie like In the Mix would have a wait list...maybe lots of Usher fans in the area! :-) |

I went to Blockbuster last week to rent "Woods of Evil" and the only copy was out. I often wonder in that spot if another DiD fan was the one who beat me to the rental. |

| Saw a preview of a new Lifetime movie next Sunday at 5 p.m. with Brooke Shields (still looking great). Typical thriller premise about her on the trail of a killer.
In addition to "NCIS" this week, keep an eye on "Prison Break" on Monday night. Both females are in trouble. The lawyer whose going to double cross Robin Tunney got his orders last week ("bring me the bitch"). As for Dr. Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies), I'm hoping a season's worth of watching this show will work out. The prison break is running through the doctor's office. Scofield in the promo tells Sara "we're breaking out and I need your help." Being the thinking man that Scofield is, he doesn't want to implicate Sara in the escape. How to do this? She helps them use her office to break out, then they leave her there bound and gagged as though she wasn't a participant. |

| “We wuz robbed!” That’s what Fremantle Football club are saying after being deprived of victory in farcical circumstances against my beloved Saints last Sunday when the final siren (hooter) went but the umpires never heard it sound to end the match – so play continued despite the protests of some of our opponents who had heard it go and we somehow scrambled a point to draw the game after being behind all day! (I’m enough of a hypocrite though to admit that I’m not complaining!) When Anguish first came out on video, I saw the picture of Talia Paul's great handgag scene on the back cover of the box. The video already had been checked out, so I went back once a week for the next four to six months to rent it -- and it was ALWAYS checked out. By the end of the first month I assumed a fellow handgag lover had rented, realized he had found the motherlode, and simply kept it. I kept trying just in case I was wrong, but it was never available. I did end up buying it on VHS just a few years ago for $2.99 (hooray for those hole-in-the-wall discount video stores in the middle of nowhere!) |

What other such scenes have there been? I recall an almost scene from the sitcom 'Soap' where fugitive Dutch and his girlfriend are discovered by the cops in their motel room. On hearing the loudspeaker, Dutch says he'll tie her up and she gets all excited. Pretty funny |

"Medium" has come around this season and the Molly Ringwald episode, I think tonight, looks promising for a possible scene with Molly. "Crossing Jordan" is simply horrible (yet another male bondage scene last night shown in promos) and "Las Vegas" has been a major disappointment. Although with the ratings falling badly, you'd think they'd add more danger next season. These renewals make a renewal for "Surface" a longshot at this point. That's the show I most want to see get a second season from NBC. |

| You've just gotta see this. This is from a Japanese TV show which I guess is some sort of game. Beautiful girl is B&G on her bed while two guys rummage through her room. The mmmmphing is magnificent, I think it's part of the game. Does anyone know anything about this show ? Is it a regular weekly program? Do they do this every week? I'd certainly love to have a nice DVD full of these scenes.

Here is the accompanying article: Stones for the Rolling Stones The promotion campaign for the Rolling Stones' new record album, "Black and Blue," is drawing fire from outraged feminists. Ads for the Atlantic Records album feature a scantily clad woman, bound and bruised, with the caption: "I'm black and blue from the rolling stones -- and I love it." When the billboard showing the theme went up on Los Angeles's Sunset Strip, it was defaced by a women's group and promptly taken down. The album's promoters now have second thoughts about the whole ad program. ------------------------------------ The 'defacement' is noticable at the bottom of the bulletin board. |

When this young married couple decide to rent out their guest house, they think their moneymaking plan is foolproof. Little do they know, their new tenant — a seductive and beautiful young woman — is about to threaten not only their marriage, but their lives! The imdb entry isn't very helpful (http://imdb.com/title/tt0770818/). I can't even tell from the cast list whether Nicole is the wife or the psycho tenant. There are some of my favorite STARGÅTE SG-1 episodes re-running on SciFi, so I thought I'd beg for a Left Coast alert. I suppose I *could* tape it anyway, just in case. :-) Love that Nicole!! |
