| Robin Tunney was double crossed at the end of tonight's episode. Promo next week showed her on an airplane. Can't tell if she was tied, but a bag was being placed over her head as she pleaded with her captor. The guy pulled a gun on her in her apartment, so he's got to transport her to the airport.
Nothing with Dr. Sara. Scofield asked her to leave the door unlocked. |

| This soap opera premiered this afternoon on Telefutura, and it came out swinging.
First, about 10 minutes into the show, we see the lead actress (Norkys Batista) with her legs manacled together and her arms loosely chained to a cardboard set of a kitchen on a float driving down the street as a form of protest for women's rights. She is also wearing a white blindfold and has a piece of silver tape over her lips. She's dressed in a pinkish maid costume and is carrying a doll of a baby. Scene obviously played for laughs. In the last 5 minutes, we see actress/singer Kiara stalked in split-screen, we see her attacked, the camera goes out of focus and when next we see her, she is being tossed into the back of a car, her hands having been taped together behind her back and a piece of silver tape on her lips. Reverting back to fullscreen, Kiara is discovered by Norkys Batista a few seconds later, helped out of the car and sat down on the pavement showing her legs weren't taped together. The tape is pulled off her lips and she spits out a white cloth (which falls right down her blouse between her brests and made me laugh out loud because it just sits there for the rest of the scene as she talks about being attacked by a man). The Kiara scene happened right at the end of the program, so there is always the chance it might be reprised in the opening minutes today. Amor a Palos airs at 4pm Central time on Telefutura. |

Furthermore, weren't two of the damsels gagged with duct tape? Haven't I conjectured that the Lifetime Network has the most bound and gagged damsels per program than any other channel? Haven't I also speculated that the Lifetime Network uses more rolls of duct tape than any other network? I wonder whether one of the regular contributors to this message board is secretly moonlighting as a scriptwriter for Lifetime? What were the titles of those two other recent movies on Lifetme that featured bound and gagged damsels? Does anyone know when their encore presentations are scheduled to air? |

NDB looks awesome in tape and no sack (btw, that was me, forgot to sign off). For fellow trainspotters, this now makes Deep Space Nine the 1st Star Trek series in which all the female regulars can be credited with a full treatment scene. NDB, Terry Farrell (whose Hellraiser more than makes up for her famous non-scene in whatever that series was titled) and two-timer Nana Visitor. We can also through in Rosalind Chao; even though hers was only a recurring character, her two time status earns a mention. |

| For those that missed the first broadcast, I've composed a dBase entry to whet your appetite.
------- Record number: 12014 Title: Ties That Bind Medium: TV Movie Actress: Nicole de Boer Description: This made-for-Lifetime movie is a cautionary tale about *not* renting your guest house to psycho/nurses. (Always a sound policy.) Nicole plays Megan, the lawyer/wife, & Brian Krause (Leo on "Charmed") plays the doctor/husband. Sonya Salomaa plays Courtney, the psycho/nurse. In the last 15 minutes, Megan (dressed casually in jeans, t-shirt, sweater, hoodie, & boots) goes to confront Courtney in the guest house. Courtney pulls a syringe and Megan fades to unconsciousness as the movie fades to commercial. When next we see Megan, it's a closeup of her face. Silver duct tape is tightly plastered to her lips. The camera pulls back, & we (& she) discover she is spreadeagled to Courtney's bed (fully clothed as before), in leather medical restraints. Much struggling and m'mmpfhing ensues, in one of the best gloating scenes I've seen in years. Courtney to Megan: "It's no use fighting. I use those to restrain PCP freakouts." No closeups of the restraints, but we can tell she's really helpless. Numerous closeups of her tape-gagged face, and we can see that the tape is well-adhered to her face. A small sliver of tape repeatedly balloons as she pants & tries to scream. VERY convincing Damsel-in-Distress. Meanwhile, Courtney-the-psycho nurse is delivering a chilling monologue. At one point, she climbs on the bed and rests her head on the same pillow as Megan, & the director gives us a dual closeup. Nicole does an *outstanding* job of selling Megan's plight. Courtney delivers a second injection, & again Megan fades into unconsciousness. Later, something strange but wonderful happens: When hubbie comes to rescue Megan, her bonds have been changed! It's still the same hospital restraints, but now her wrists are cuffed together and to her ankles, and an additional of pair are strapped now around her elbows! The elbow cuffs and ankle cuffs are strapped to the bed and the wrist/ankle junction is a double "Y" of straps joined with rings. (I believe this is called "four point restraint" by nurses (psycho and otherwise).) Hubbie rips off the tape and frees her wrists and elbows, then Megan does a crunch and frees her ankles. Then it's off to the climax! ------- The next airing is Sunday, 21 May, at 7PM. |

Pretty sure KMOV-4 is United States general channel CBS ==== Have a feeling, along with the time zone difference, that the 10pm CKXT channel airing here is really going to be originating out of the United States. | Just saw sneak preview of the movie. Believe it or not Michelle Monaghan got tape gagged in the movie. Quite a scene...at the start of the movie she's taped to a chair and tape gagged...at the end of the movie she's cuffed all over and tape gagged.
Loved the scene. The summer has begun guys! Enjoy Michelle Monaghan in MI3! |

The New York Times reviews it as a new show, and it does not sound like the original 'reunion' dramatic tv movie with the guy who hogties JC. |

| There's a lull in the preview, and then we see that Hoffman has Monaghan bound and gagged and there's a gun to her head. He yells "Seven!"
Close up on Hunt: "Don't..." Hoffman: "Eight!" Hunt: "Don't!" Hoffman yells something like, "Do you think I'm playing with you?!??!?" and then we see Hunt looking horrified like Hoffman has shot her or something. Then we see the M:I3 logo. |

Honestly, I'm disappointed with the lack of gag on Lauren (was really mouthy) and also that she wasn't in a skirt showing off those sexy legs. |
