Thought we might get disappointed here, but not like this!! I thought she'd be held captive, etc., and the gag might be off after the initial kidnapping with a killing coming in a rescue try.

But that's the deal with these type of shows, which is why I never waste much time watching any of the "Law & Orders."

Now I'm glad it wasn't Angie, Jill, Elizabeth or Carey!! The gagging did show about two seconds more than the promo.

So, no gag for Rachel next week?

The male sidekick kidnapped with her next week was shown getting a bag pulled off his head. He was not gagged, which doesn't bode well for Rachel having one.

Didn't see the "Conviction" promo, but the "Numbers" damsel looked like she was dead. Duct taped to a matress on the floor, possible wrap duct-tape gag. I'd go with "Conviction."

Global TV in Canada airs both shows starting at 8 PM (Conviction is a 2 hour episode)

Re: REBELDE

Can anyone relate some time parameters to today's sequence? The DB entry indicates it'll be lengthy, but does it begin early on and cover most of the hour?

Thanks advanced.

Just finished watching it. There's two scenes actually. According to the time indicator on my TiVO, the first scene occurs between the 20-25 minute mark and the second between the 30-35 mark. There's additional footage of her handcuffed trying to sneak the key from the guy as he sleeps after the 35 min mark, but the gag's been removed. The cuffs are removed by around the 40 minute mark. Still around 10 minutes to go, but it looks like the scene is over.

No, she's regagged again in the final minutes and still shown that way in promo for Friday. I counted three onscreen gaggings in this one. Well sealed tape-gag all three times.

Hi, I saw that she ended up in jail in this movie from the trailers on TV. Has anyone seen it? Does she get handcuffed before hand? Thank you.

Buzzsaw history.
While doing research for a story involving a lady placed in an archetypal buzzsaw peril, I found myself wondering when the notion of a single saw being fed by a conveyor belt arose.

It's apparently pure fantasy, an invention of authors, artists or movie designers. In real sawmills, the log is clamped to a wheeled carriage on rails, and moved back and forth about the blade, being adjusted each time until it has been completely cut into boards or baulks.

Belt or roller conveyors are used in mills, but they carry squared boards to multiple band or circular saws for cutting into smaller planks, or to pulping machines. I've seen just one illustration of a model of a 19th century mill with a log apparently being pushed and guided manually on rollers into a buzzsaw, presumably to produce two rough but more manageable workpieces.

I haven't seen any of the early serials or melodramas featuring the buzzsaw peril. Does anyone know if they were typically shot in real sawmills, or in studio mock-ups? Do any films actually show a belt conveyor, or do they tie the damsel to a log on some kind of trolley, or even a proper saw carriage?

"Beach Blanket Bingo" has a ludicrous trolley, used again in a later film, but is it the first use of such a device? I remember Emma Peel in "The Avengers" being pulled towards a buzzsaw on a sort of skateboard, part of a villain's custom-built execution rig, also in the mid '60s.

Modern scenes, such as those in "V.I.P" and "Medicopter", more or less accurately show conveyor belts leading to multiple blades, but when did the probably mythical big buzzsaw/conveyor belt combination first appear?

Guys, actually there are FOUR scenes with gags. The first one is, like originally posted, at around the 20-25-minute mark. However, after 2 more segments (one with a girl getting out of bed & back in, then one with 3 girls in their pajamas talking), there is another scene, 5 or so minutes later than the first one. This one has her still gagged, as the guy brings in pizza, & after some taunting, she's she's ungagged. The 3rd one is the one at around the 30-minute mark, in which she is re-gagged and the guy eats pizza in front of her. Then she's re-gagged again, in the final segment.

If you watch the first gag scene between the 20-and 25-minute mark, then STOP and FF towards the 30-35 minute mark (like I did at first, then though better & decided to scan straight through), you'll miss that second scene, which is only a few minutes after the first one..

Awww crap! I recorded the entire hour on the East Coast feed, then erased it and then only recorded between 20-35 min for the West Coast.

In the database (prithvi) you said bound and gagged, did you mean she gagged or just a handgag

I contacted the poster with your question.

Btw: Took it as 2 handgags and a chloro.

I was wondering the same thing, but I doubt anyone saw the film.
