One in the museum robbery story where Andrea spends most of the episode B&G in the basement and another about Russian spies who's satellite equipment interferes with the kid's computer. In the later episode an American girl who is working for the spies figures out what is going on and ends up bound and gagged on a couch while the villian sits next to her and works some equipment. Nice scene, kinda says "you're helpless I dont have to pay you attention any more...." |

"How Many to Kill?" John Creasy (As Michael Halliday) Cute girl is kidnapped by accident, rescued and then falls victim to a home invasion. Two B&B scenes both with questionable gags. One nice section comes before the first bondage scene where the villians are about to leave the girl alone and are discussing the options of keeping her drugged or tying her up. "I would gag her" one of them says after thinking about it. The Abduction by Gerd Christian Seeber. Brother and sister are kidnapped by professional Tuscan kidnappers. Three bondage scenes including the initial abduction and an escape attempt. Snatched by Nicholas Fisk. Brief Bondage scene at the beginning. Watch All Night by John Foster -- see the DB entry since this was made into a TV series. Two for Inspector West By John Creasey. Kidnapped victim B&G while villian is away. "Man out of Nowhere" By LP Davis. Nurse, kidnapped, drugged and later B&G during deathtrap. "Case of the Innocent Victims" John Creasey. A witness to a murder is bound and gagged and hidden amongst carpets in a warehouse. Nice tying scene but no further sign of the damsel until she appears free in the last pages of the book. |

One paperback edition had a beautiful blonde on the cover, head and shoulders portrait, wrapped in a carpet and gagged with a cross of white tape. In the text, the gag is wrapped tightly at least twice around her head. I remember the line, "The blonde fairly heaved for breath." |

Tied to the mast and threatened with a whipping, bound and gagged and rolled in a blanket and stolen from her bedroom (extended scene that ends in “consensual” sex while she’s tied to his bed). Then she gets abducted by yet another guy, she’s pregnant, and he ties her in standing bondage while she’s going into labour (!). -Most of Lindsey’s books have some kind of DID or sexual slavery element. “Beyond the Highland Mist,” by Karen Marie Moning Romance. Ch. 24. Woman carried off on horseback, hands tied behind her back, hood over her head. The guy wants to “tame” her, like a hawk. -There’s also a chair tie in “The Immortal Highlander,” and a brief DID scene in “To Tame a Highland Warrior.” “Outlander,” by Diana Gabaldon Period romance about a woman from the 1940's who’s messing about at a Stonehenge-type place and ends up going back in time. In fairly short order (Ch. 3) she’s captured (hand gag, attempted rape), then captured by someone else (hands tied to a saddle horn). She gets captured again in Ch. 21. He ties her hands behind her back, menaces her with a knife, cuts away some of her clothing. In Ch. 22 she gets rather an enormous spanking. In Ch. 25, she and another woman are tried as witches, bound during the trial, then stripped to the waist and whipped with their hands bound over their heads. |

Friday March 31 11:38:58 2006 DiDs in Sci Fi novels |
In "God Game" by Andrew Greely there is a scene in which a young damsel is tied to a post and a sock stuffed into her mouth.
In one of the stories in "Swords and Deviltry" by Fritz Leiber, the "hero" grabs a woman, hand-gagges her and then leaves her bound and gagged in a room. In "Dune" by Frank Herbert, the Lady Jessica is chlorofromed and then has a long scene in which she is gag, while the evil Baron Harkonnen gloats over her (the scene is in the movie version as well). J.K. Rowling seems to have a bondage thing going. In "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" Harry is gagged in the climactic scene (putz alert!) but in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" Hermione, Ginny Weasly, and Luna Lovegood are all gagged in abrief scene (as well as a couple of young putzes). In a horror story called "Bad Guy Hats" by David Schow (published in "Midnight Graffiti", Jessica Horsting and James Van Hise, editors) a blond is hogtied and wrap-around gagged under a table while the bad guys drink beer above her. She is later forced to have sex with one of the bad guys by another set of bad guys while still gagged. It's pretty rough, if you don't like that sort of thing, what with the rape and murder and stuff. mick |

If I had to choose a book with my *absolute* *favorite* DiD-scene, it would be...
"Topping from Below" by Laura Reese ISBN: 0312144350 Format: Paperback, 364pp Pub. Date: April 1996 Publisher: St. Martin's Press The extended mummification scene is incredibly cool (IMHO). Nude, bound hand & foot with rope, wrapped head to toe with elastic bandages, something stuffed in her mouth, her worried eyes darting about through a slit in the bandages... Then the bad guy covers her eyes & nails her inside a coffin-size wooden box. Not to worry. There's a happy ending... for *her*. The heroine is described as an athletic brunette, & I've always imagined Terry Farrell in the role (& the *rolls* of bandages... naked, bound hand & foot, etc.) :-) |

Friday March 31 15:20:37 2006 Name the film |
Bit of a long shot but wonder if anyone can help me.
I'm trying to find the name of a mainstream American film which Iv'e seen only once on British TV about 15 years ago and the story from what I can remember involved a group of women trying to rob a casino(?). Anyway some of them are caught and handcuffed hands behind and for some reason they were in bras. I remember finding this hugely erotic at the time and would love to get hold of a dvd. I know it's not a lot to go on but if anyone can help I'd appreciate it. |

I saw a Director's Cut of TCM last year on one of the movie channels and the director talked about this scene. He said that rag they stuffed in her mouth was just some utility rag that was laying around the set and they just used it. He also said Marilyn was a real trooper, did everything they asked her to do and never complained. |

Worth noting that John Creasy was quite a prolific writer, and published countless thrillers like these under his own name and various pseudenyms. I don't have exact figures but most of the ones i've read have included some sort of DiD scene. |

Friday March 31 17:20:41 2006 The Keeper |
My neighborhood video store got a new title today, "The Keeper" with Dennis Hopper and Asia Argento. The cover shows an obviously symbolic painting of a girl in a suspended cage in a cellar. The blurb says that a sheriff's deputy of highest reputation kidnaps a pretty girl and holds her in his cellar for dark purposes.
This situation is full of great possibilities for bondage, and every single one of them is unrealized. He locks her in a big jail cell in his basement, and that's all he ever does. The low point is reached twice, when she escapes and heads off at a dead run with him in hot pursuit. When he catches up with her he tackles her and then what does this veteran lawman do? He picks her up, tells her gruffly that she's going back to her cell, and then he escorts her back down the forest path with a fatherly arm over her shoulder. Sheesh! Be not deceived by the sensational cover. There may be good reasons for watching this movie, but from a bondage point of view this flick is a pluperfect nullity. |

Though I always found it disturbing that she looks like a young version of my mother!! It made me wonder what the kids of retired bondage models thought if they came across mom's previous work... moxx of balhoom wrote: >Worth noting that John Creasy was quite a prolific writer, and published >countless thrillers like these under his own name and various pseudenyms. >I don't have exact figures but most of the ones i've read have included some >sort of DiD scene. I've always had good success finding scenes in his work. However about 2/3 of his output were various kinds of procedurals where the story tends to follow the investigator around with brief flashes as to what the villian (and any DiD's) were doing. So "villian puts girl "on ice" and "hero cop rescues girl" tend to be the only scenes we get. He also fancies himself as a suspense author, so often the girl is placed in a bad situation (like teh girl in the carpet pile) and part of the mystery is finding out what happened next. Showing the girl alive and ummppphing would tend to spoil the surprise. Mary Higgins Clark seems to have a good run on DiD scenes too and she has even done multiple damsels at various times. One book I lost in a move and which title escapes me involves a young female Dr attacked in a hospital by thugs whi B&G her, put her on a gurney, hide the bonds under a blanket and take her to a gyno examination room to "play." Lots of "helpless girl in public unable to raise alarm" stuff there. |

Friday March 31 20:42:56 2006 Avengers |
I caught an old "Avengers" episode last night; it was entitled "Split", and it featured Linda Thorson, playing Steed's sidekick, the inimitable Tara King, bound and gagged by the archetypal mad scientist. I consulted the voluminous Scene Database to ascertain that this episode would include a bondage scene, and read that Ms. Thorson is initially gagged with a ball dropped in her mouth, with a strip of gauze pulled over it to secure the ball in place. Later, when she is ungagged, Steed removes a wad of cotton from her mouth.
When I watched the episode, however, I saw the villain gagging her by dropping a WAD OF COTTON into her mouth. There were errors with gag continuity, with the strip of gauze changing widths in different scenes, but the stuffing in her mouth was cotton all along. Would this observation merit an emendation of the Database Entry for this episode? |

---- 1) A: Nothing even close. 2) However, the groundwork for possibly "darker"-themed episodes in the future was laid at the end of the episode. Tonight's ghost warned her that there are "some" on the "other side" who aren't happy with what Melinda is accomplishing... Of course, that's the major premise of "Charmed" -- and we know what a letdown that's been. |

I was suprised to catch a quick scene on tonights episode of X-Play. See pics below.
I added this entry to the database: Description: Episode: Episode #6025 - "80's Breakfast Club Tribute" In a spoof of "The Breakfast Club", an attractive brunette intern playing the Ally Sheedy role has her arms duct taped to the arms of a chair and is gagged with what appears to be a leather belt. She struggles frantically and screams against the gag as show co-host Morgan Webb (in the Molly Ringwald role) approaches her to give her a makeover via power grinder. Scene has maybe three seconds of screen time, with the mmmphing lasting perhaps an additional four seconds.
