| I was dissapointed in a movie "Bikini round-up" that I saw late Saturday night
It was one of those cinemax movies that aired on HBO zone. Towards the end, Beverly Lynne was taken hostage in an attempt to get a map from girl buddy Nicole Sheridan. It was in a small western town but no one was wearing bandanas so that was a bad sign. While I did have a little hope they'd at least tie, they just brought her out untied at gunpoint. It kills me they didn't tie her up and gag her with a red bandana. Those movies wuld be more watchable if they had some bondage. |

This movie was yet another low-budget inanity, and I do mean LOW-BUDGET! Its only redeeming feature was the bondage scene described above, and posibbly other ones as well; my recollection of it is imperfect. I do remember that the damsel mentioned above was the female lead, and she was bound and gagged by the villains. The movie was so low-budget, that the purported machine, from which electrodes were attached to her head was simply an oscilloscope, found in any electronics lab. |

A really hot little bondage scenelet can go almost unnoticed if it's done right. Case in point: the scene where Barbie Benton is chained to the wall wearing a see-through nightie while various barbarian warriors molest her and remove said nightie.But it's done in the midst of a huge brawl/orgy among various warriors and with various slavegirl types, and it's just part of the general fun. Even the guys who don't get bondage are gonna enjoy seeing Barbie Benton's twin wonders spilling out of that nightie while her hands are held apart and behind her by her chains. And I'd argue that most vanilla types dig bondage to some extent, albeit at a pretty much unconscious level. You're right, a well done bondage scene won't turn around an otherwise hopeless movie or TV show for anyone not attentive to these things, but on the other hand, it can only help. |

| I remember a promo that went very wrong. This was on a Sunday night movie and they blended the promo for next weeks movie with a beer commercial. The gimmick was that a guy was sitting in his easy chair watching the promo on his TV. The promo was for some movie (forget the name) that had a girl kidnapped in the woods. At the end of the promo it showed her tied hands-behind-back to a tree. Then the scene pans out to show the guy putting down his beer onto the end table (of course hilighting the brand). Just at the end where we see the girl struggling and in terror, he says "All Right!". The gimmick was obviously supposed to work for promos that were more 'politically correct'. HA! I ROFL when I saw it.
