Tuesday March 07 00:56:30 2006 24 missed chance |
Tough one in the second hour. Carrie, the gorgeous tech assistant, was in the perfect spot to get B&G when catching the bad guy in the furnace room. Was hoping he'd use her to get out of the building. Nope. Killed off. The fool later tried to use a guard to get out. Glad he failed. |

This is indeed a case of alternative titles; so many movies have been titled "Greed" that the producers of this film decided to distinguish it in some way.I did consult the voluminous Scene Database, and could not locate a Database Entry for Greed. I also performed a search using the name of one of the actresses in the film, and found no Database Entry for Greed using this method. |

Tuesday March 07 06:06:11 2006 Need Help With Scene ID |
I once remember a movie showing on HBO several years ago. All I can recall is a gorgeous blonde lady wearing a red short-skirted party dress and red high heels in a nice modern LA-style house writhing on the living room floor near a coffee table bound with rope and gagged with white tape as an intruder went stalking to kill the DiD's husband/boyfriend. I can't remember if the DiD was disposed of too. Scene sound familiar to anyone? Thanks! |

---- However, my TV listings have a (2001) date listed for "Final Jeopardy". |

I thought it looked familiar but the voiceover said "premieres" on Lifetime, but that simply could mean they are airing it for the first time and it's already aired on other networks. Very misleading promo, but you're right, the movie is from 2001 and likely contains nothing of interest. |
Tuesday March 07 08:10:03 2006 Along Came Jones, the best bondage song ever! |
Seems like almost all the old musical variety shows, ie the Mandrell Sisters, Sha Na Na, ect, did a skit to the tune of "Along Came Jones". Heres a little homage to the greatest bondage song ever written.
Olivia Newton John's "Tied Up" could have been the greatest if she hadn't chickened out and just made a boring performance video. |

It was a short but very nice scene. She was killed off-screen. Gina Gershon starred in what was a pretty mediocre flick, but she had a minor handcuffing scene later on. |

Tuesday March 07 16:38:42 2006 Que Bueno se Puso Lola |
On this hispanic soap opera on Univision, a pretty brunette - not the lead, unfortunately - is being held hostage. On Monday she was tied with her wrists to the chair arms (no gag)with a single strand of rope that crossed in front of her in the chair. She did quite a bit of moving around and knocked a wine bottle of a table, breaking it. This morning, she got loose, quickly tied herself back up when she heard her captor coming and pulled a rifle on him, but he got things back under control and she was last seen wrists tied to the chair arms again, feet tied apart to the chair legs, another rope looped around the back of her neck and she's cleave-gagged with a white cloth. She's wearing a tank-top, jeans, and clunky black work-boots. The scene should continue tomorrow. |

Tuesday March 07 19:43:46 2006 Back Dawn |
I've just got the monthly film magazine from Global Video and theres a review of a film in it caled 'Black Dawn' starring (the finest actor of his generation) Steven Seagal. It says in the description of the film that
"...Cold's cover threatens to be blown when the weapons dealer kidnaps his beautiful former protegee Amanda (Tamara Davies)..." I checked the DB and there is an entry fo a 'Black Dawn' but checked the IMDB and this is a different one. Just wondering has anyone seen it? if not i'll get it out when i'm next at the video shop and post if it comes up trumps. |

Tuesday March 07 20:11:38 2006 Wonder Woman Sitrep |
Here's a WW nugget from the DarkHorizons.com site:
------- Empire Online recently published a new interview with Joss Whedon in which he speaks about how his planned adaptation of "Wonder Woman" is going: "I am still writing Wonder Woman. It is very awesome but incredibly unfinished, but I should be finishing that in a little while and then I'll have a better idea of which film is actually going into production. But I can tell you that the film will be about introducing you to Wonder Woman. She'll be wearing the outfit and there will be the bracelets, the golden lasso and Greek gods. She comes from a civilisation where she's rather perfect, so she's the opposite to Buffy in many ways, but she's going through an adolescent rite of passage because she's new to the world". He also commented more on further "Buffy" adventures - "We are trying to put together a Spike movie - I don't know if it's financially feasible. That's what I've been working towards for the past several months, and I should know fairly soon whether or not something's going to happen with that". ------- Okay, it's goin' slow, but it's still goin'! :-) Let's not waste time speculating about who'll be cast as Diana/WW... Let's just sit back & fantasize about "the outfit", "the bracelets", & "the golden lasso". ;-) P.S.: "Spike Movie"? How 'bout a "*WILLOW* Movie"?? (I'd even settle for a "*Cordy* Movie".) |
