Looks to be wearing a white slip. Two weeks in a row of really ugly females bound and gagged on this show. Yuck. I think any scenes for the female leads here are longshots. This was perfect setup, with the guy stalking Kelly Ripa's husband, for Vivica Fox to be tied and gagged as bait for her FBI boyfriend. Last episode of the season anyways. I was shocked ABC didn't promo the "Alias" final episodes during the Super Bowl. I guess they've given up completely and don't even care about the series finale or think it'll do any kind of ratings. |

And the people I'm most likely to be writing for are coming out with a line of books that are intended to be even raunchier than the lines you cite.Intentionally so. While older readers may crave less explicit stuff, younger ones seem to want the Real Deal. And they're OK with submissive heroines.Whole new world out there. |

> I've noticed the Harlequin Intrigue line often uses the plot device of the heroine kidnapped and tied up by--guess who--the good guy and--guess what--they fall in love.
---- My recollection from skimming thru Nancy Friday's groundbreaking 1970's book "My Secret Garden" (+ her followup "Forbidden Flowers") on women's sexual fantasies was that the #1 sexual fantasy was what she classified as the "Force fantasy" -- NOT a fantasy of being raped -- but the sort of good guy-overcoming-her-reluctance that's sorta standard romance novel fodder. Perhaps it's not so much a "whole new world out there", as much as (finally) acknowledging its existence. |

---- Coincidentally, the current Turner Classic Movies TV ad just re-aired. It runs along the lines of "When a backwoods man abducts several women... that's kidnapping. When they end up marrying each other... it's a classic! (Cut to MGM dance sequences) 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers' (1954). |

It's a Blaze novel called "Possession" by a Tori Carrington. A guy is wrongfully accused of killing a woman, so he takes a female FBI agent hostage, binding & gagging her with duct tape. |

I randomly came across this collage of Allison Lange in SWF 2. No gag, and, honestly, not of much interest to me, but for arms-over-head lovers, it might be something:

"Possession" by Tori Carrington, eh?
If anyone knows of any other romances that have or might have strong maledom/femsub themes with bondage, let me know, I'd like to be able to point out examples of other works in the genre. |

While catering a murder-mystery night things get a tad too real for our DiD! Dressed in a kinky French Maid outfit she is grabbed by the villain and handgagged by his white gloved hand. The scene is prolonged, well lit, and with good facial close-up/reaction shots. Her policeman bodyguard saves the day and the villain is apprehended. But her troubles are not over yet! Shortly thereafter she is kidnapped by a seemingly harmless male friend who harbours a secret obsessive passion for her. He renders her unconscious with a chloroform soaked pad before slinging her over his shoulder. She awakes to find herself upstairs in her own attic, which her admirer has turned into a romantic den.She is lying on a couch bound hand and foot, hands in front, with rope.Alas, she is not gagged at any time. During the subsequent gloat/exposition her captor massages her bound feet. This scene is prolonged and well lit. When her policeman bodyguard/boyfriend crashes in and rescues her, her captor insists that "it was just a game and she wanted it this way." |

7) Record number: 9687 Title: Spiders II: Breeding Ground (2001) aka Spiders 2 Medium: Movie Actress: Unknown Description: While playing poker on a boat, gunmen come in and bind and gag three women with black tape, bundle them into bags and toss them onto the getaway rafts. The scene begins about three minutes in and lasts a couple of minutes or so. IMO there's really not much to see as far as the gags are concerned, but YMMV. |

Monday February 06 18:04:57 2006 Girl Sleuth |
The subject of this post is a book I'm currently reading, entitled "Girl Sleuth", by Melanie Rehak. It is the story of Nancy Drew, how she was conceived and her history. There is very little mention of her being bound and gagged, as she often was in the course of her investigations. There are very few allusions to her being placed in bondage; the author uses the euphemistic and neutral term "tied up" to refer to her in this condition.
The Nancy Drew mysteries were published under the pseudonym Carolyn Keene, but were ghostwritten by a woman named Mildred Wirt. Her descriptions of Nancy's being bound and gagged were rather vivid, as I recall. Has anyone tabulated the number of times Nancy has been bound and gagged in all her mystery series, including the most recent ones? |

Title: Night Man aka Nightman Medium: TV Series Actress: Michelle Clunie Description: Episode: "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" (1.3) In the opening sequence, Ms. Clunie's character is working in a computer lab or some such when black-garbed baddies enter through a vent in the ceiling and grab and handgag her after she gives a couple of 'em a bop on the beezer. She's next seen with her wrists bound to the arms of a chair (presumably, from the position of her arms, as there are no clear shots to confirm), cleavegagged with white cloth, and blindfolded with a black mask. ... |

Monday February 06 19:22:01 2006 Date Movie |
Anyone else notice the King Kong homage in the Date Movie commercial? A woman with a very fake-looking blonde wig is shown tied with her hands up and apart, and a giant gorilla hand rips her dress off to reveal leopard-print bra & panties, then the big ape's finger is shown touching her breasts while she coos "I like hairy guys." Wonder if that'll be in the movie or if it was just a bit they filmed for the promotion. |

Can't help with an exhaustive list; however... The newest Nancy Drew comic from Papercutz *finally* delivers some "on topic" content, specifically... Chloroform; Dungeon; Bound hand & foot on the altar of Kali; Dumped from a truck mummified in a sheet. ...& all that's Nancy! The guest star "Kalpana" has her own problems with dungeons & rope. Here's the Papercutz info: NANCY DREW Graphic Novel #4 Stefan Petrucha & Sho Murase "The Girl Who Wasn’t There" Nancy gets a call for help late one night from a girl she befriended over the phone when getting technical support to help fix her computer. When the line goes dead, Nancy is determined to get to the bottom of things. Soon, Nancy, her Dad, and friends George and Bess are on their way to India to find Kalpana, the girl who wasn't there! Monday February 06 23:05:48 2006 Re: Bondage in Harlequin Romances |
I am actually an author of an erotic bondage novel, under contract with a company called eXtasy books. They have quite a few titles that involve bondage, and they have a separate listing for bondage. They are an e-press but some of their titles are alsoavailable in print format.
My Book "What I Love about the Music Industry" is waiting for an editor, for anyone that is interested (Hopefully it will be out by summer). It is a lesbian damsel in distress/peril story. I am presently working on developing a homepage, if any one is interested I will add them to my list and send them updates as they become available. |
