So... did anyone actually pay to see this thing yet? We know there's a Carmen-Electra-as-Fay-Wray parody scene, but how long is it? Is it any good? Should we wait 'til it airs on cable? |

--- Looks like Denise Virieux in Katts and Dog ("Heartburn"). |

Saw it, and it was a waste of a movie. On the other hand, Carmen Electra is tied up at the very end of the movie, and the scene was less than memorable. Wait until cable, and then only watch the last 5 minutes. |

Those visitors interested in b/w-DID-scenes from the 1930s, 40s and 50s should visit the ebay-shop of "billboard99pins" who has a huge collection of free lobby-card-samples from tv- and movie-scenes (some of them have already been sold over the last year, but there is still a huge amount left); and there are some scenes from the 60s and 702 as well. |

These aren't lobby cards. They're photos from Movie Star News in New York. The seller is also from New York, but don't think it is MSN. The seller says they bought these retail, presumably from MSN. I bought many of the same photos in the 80s and recognized a couple of the photofakes that were included in their stock. Go to the auction linked in the homepage for an example. |

For the readers:
1) Of the 9 network soaps on ABC, CBS, and NBC which shows have the most scenes ? 2) If you were to create a daytime top ten list, what actresses have had the most scenes ? |

BTW if you post these messages over at DB corrections, there is a good chance too that I will find them. I usually drop by there as well when I'm visiting Brian. |

IMO, it more or less, explains the huge stock of DiD photos they have :D |

I saw a commercial/promo for
CSI:NY "Fare Game" 3-1-Wed 9:00pm central time. I saw a damsel with a black blindfold, it was so quick I could not tell what else was involved. |

---- Over a decade ago, I ordered several DiD + Bettie Page photos from Movie Star News -- if for no other reason, a small financial "Thank you" (which unfortunatley, seems to be an alien concept to some mainstream bondage collectors) for being pioneers in legitimizing bondage to the mainstream, and for putting up with all they went thru for doing so. MSN's 8"x10" black & white "Hollywood Bondage Photos" were contained in their 1997 catalog (Grace Kelly cover). |

Tuesday February 28 20:27:56 2006 McCloud |
And an acknowledgement to the recent passing of a favorite actor, Dennis Weaver (81).
Always made it a point to catch "McCloud", then my favorite of NBC's stellar mystery trilogy of "Columbo" and "McMillan and Wife". Unfortunately, it looks like there's only one Scene Database entry (a B&g scene for recurring regular Diana Muldaur as girlfriend Chris Coughlin). I recall "McCloud" featuring some of the 1970s most-attractive actresses: Jaclyn Smith and Farrah Fawcett (before Charlie's Angels), Britt Ekland, Leslie Parrish, Teri Garr in a recurring role as ditzy Sgt Norton, etc. But despite a distinct likelihood, given the series premise (McCloud as an urban-cowboy always rescuing a fair damsel in distress), only one episode provided an extra payoff. |

Episode description is about a district attorney found dead at a grave site and someone eating a scorpion like bug. Then a flash of the damsel. Your guess is a good as mine. Also on Criminal Minds before this, there appears to be someone bound at the feet with a white zip-tie and the agents calling for an ambulance. |

Saw it tonigh. Very good lengthy scene. 2 girls with cleave gags. Lots of closeups. Only one bad thing, is that one damsel comes to a gruesome end. |

They used to be located on East 14th Street just above the East Village. They moved in the late 80s to a location closer to midtown, where they still are. I haven't been in there in years, so I don't know how involved she still is (or if she's still alive). They are two of the nicest and friendliest people you'll ever meet. If I recall, he was a huge NY Giants fan. |

Tuesday February 28 23:26:00 2006 C.O.P.S. on DVD with great scene |
No, not the FOX TV series, but the 1988 animated series about "Fighting crime in a future time!", which hit DVD today in a boxed set featuring the episode with the sexy blonde computer expert "Mainframe" getting wrapped-up mummy style and emitting some of the greatest muffled screaming (and I do mean *screaming*) I've ever heard, before getting a nice chair-tie scene. I don't know the episode title off-hand, but the set contains the show's entire run, so it'll be in there. Don't know if it's worth $30 for one scene, but it's a *great* scene. :o) |
