| I queried in a previous post whether anyone knew the exact number of times Nancy Drew has been bound and gagged in the course of her adventures, chronicled in several book series. When someone replied that this is too exhaustive a list to compile, an idea occured to me. Why don't the contributors to this message board submit the titles of books in which the redoubtable and intrepid Ms. Drew has been bound and gagged, and the resulting compilation will eventually become a complete database of the instances in which she was bound and gagged. Information included in addition to the title would be the series of which the book is a part and its number. In this manner, we may be able to discern whether there is a pattern to her bondage, for example, if Nancy Drew is bound and gagged in every fourth or fifth book.

| Next week's "Rollergirls" on A&E will in fact have a scene. A cute brunette is kidnapped by friends, and is bound hands behind, blindfolded and gagged with black tape and driven around Austin.
The show airs Monday at 9 p.m. Eastern time. It was promoed at the end of this week's show. |

| Number 5 BBC Series Held captive by Psycho woman.
Couldn't find this one in the DB so i created an entry myself Record number: 11841 Title: murder in mind Medium: TV Series Actress: Frances Grey Description: Episode: Victim In this hour long episode of the anthology thriller series Grey plays a woman who begins to suspect her landlord is a serial killer. However in a surprise twist at the end it transpires it is actually her flatmate who is the killer. In the last few minutes of the episode the landlord having been poisoned by the second girl drags himself into the bedroom where he finds Grey curled up on the bed, She is bound and gagged with brown parcel tape, her wrists crossed in front of her and taped to her calves just below the knees, there is more tape around her legs and a single strip across her lips, which are visible underneath. She rolls around on the bed making muffled noises and looking scared. As the credits roll the other woman is about to plunge a knife into her helpless body. She is wearing a blue rugby shirt and black jeans. |

The image looks like a publicity photo taken with a flash. As I recall, there may have been as many as four or five camera setups in the full sequence. The photo may have been taken while they were doing pick-up shots. |
