Not only that, but as we know you can't just post where you please. We as a group made a decision that such requests belong on Trade, and that's where they end up regardless. |

Maybe this will help. I can go through the notes on this series. Probably run them up on Database Corrections Page. This series entries were ID'd on researching by Editor, so it possible the ep title and actress already in there |

The stories vividly described some B&G'd scenes. Had to research that for goof entries, but not familiar with the series. Some of the entries still suspect |

I do know it came late in Mitzi Kapture's run in the series. She did almost 5 seasons. I'm pretty sure it was in Season 4. And yes, I was pissed the female didn't gag her after cuffing her on the boat. |

If anyone out here was fortunate enough to catch her "Drowned World" tour a couple of years back (as I was) she did a "cowpoke" skit in which she briefly was wrapped with rope. The intention was humor..the implication was "erotic". Hey laugh all you want I saw Madonna bound live!! |

Sunday January 08 13:36:41 2006 "Million Dollar Baby" premiered on HBO last night... |
...which prompts me to implore the group to weigh in with your opinion as to whether its scenes-yes, it DOES have a couple of scenes, after a fashion-should be documented in the database.
About forty minutes in, Hilary Swank spars (for those of you who just got back from Mars, she plays a boxer) with her ankles lashed together with perhaps a couple of feet of rope. Approximately an hour after that, she's shown briefly in a wheelchair with her wrists secured to the armrests by cloth bindings. I won't spoil the movie for those of you who haven't seen it-and haven't heard about the plot from somewhere else-and I hope the rest of you will endeavor not to do that as well, However, the storyline arguably has a lot to do with whether either or both scenes belong in the database, so I anticipate anyone with strong feelings either way will have either seen the film or will know where the story goes. My own feelings are that the sparring scene at least ought to go in, given that a similar one in a much more lighthearted movie-Betty Grable's shackled-at-the-ankles singing performance in 1943's "Coney Island"-is already there. So how about it? Either, both, or none? |

And Mitzi wore micro-mini skirts, except for the cuffing (slacks). One self-described "greedy" guy related: Mitzi couldn't return the favour, as the male lead shot the gal and she fell into the water. No luck with any of that yet |

I don't see them as similar. Light-hearted or not, that is an attempt at restraint. I don't see how the training business is at all. I guess the biggest question is whether any of this is of any interest to collectors. |

Scene 8 is another scene from "The Dark Ride" Scene 15 looks like Tamara Braun as "Carly" on General Hospital. |

Unless someone else already owns it and cares to report on it, I'll post when I eventually get my copy (Amazon has a habit of taking forever on some items). Not, BTW, to seem dismissive of your alert. I only found it because Amazon recommended it based on some of my earlier purchases. No brilliant sleuthing on my part. I would, however, suggest examine Amazon's list of similar items. There are several promising titles there... |

A few people have told me it's from a film called "Desolation Angels", but the scene described in the DB isn't even REMOTELY similar to the scene I have on tape so I still don't believe that's correct. The scene isn't from an Aussie movie with three damsels in it like the DB says. It was a low budget horror film and the single bound and gagged girl was on the back cover. She's being doused with kerosene by the killer. Scene 4- I can confirm is called "The Dark Ride", also known as "Killer's Delight" Scene 8- is also from "The Dark Ride/Killer's Delight" that occurs a little later in the film. |

What you have failed to mention is that Betty was also handcuffed, which makes it a "bit" more than just shackled at the ankles. |

Ya might want to cross check the spelling of her name, btw. I'm lousy at spelling. |

Sunday January 08 19:37:36 2006 Yvonne Craig on being B&G on MFU |
From America on the Rerun: TV Shows That Never Die by David Story, Yvonne Craig tells of her guest role on "Man From UNCLE": "When we did 'The Brain Killer Affair, I was supposed to be tied up to a chair and gagged. And they honest to God tied me to the chair and gagged me and [then] they forgot about me and [I was panicked] anyway because I didn't like being tied up - you're really vulnerable when you're tied up. All stunt people now say,'you just never do that!' I can't believe I let them do that. So they walked off to lunch and left me until someone remembered."

Another thick white cleave gag in a TV show; excellent. Play it backwards in slo mo and you get to see Billie, Kaley Cuoco,
gag Piper. |

I forgot all about that. Thanks for the memory jog. And as far as the Boss' wondering about the context of the "MIllion Dollar Baby" wheelchair scene, it's one of those things someone who's seen the film really can't get into without spoiling perhaps too much of it for someone who hasn't seen it yet and is going to. What I'm really surprised by, however, is that there aren't more people around here who have seen the movie and weighed in with their opinion. Given Hilary Swank's other database entries, I'd have thought she'd have been more of a draw in something in which she wouldn't be expected to get it. On the other hand, perhaps everyone here did what I did and waited for the movie to hit cable, in which case I guess we can wait maybe a week or two until more of us have seen it before tallying the yeas and nays. |
