VAN's FiCTiON is Updated... a little late
Hi-Hi Fellow DiDoids! and Happy Friday Evening. My neighborhood lost power Thursday and only just now got it back. Hence, Chapter 7 of "Artists & Models" is several hours late... but it's posted now! :-)

Re: chuck
Only one (2 hour) episode of CHUCK left. Was never a big fan of the show itself as so far as watching it, but I was/am a huge fan of hottie babe Yvonne Strahovski and her stiletto heels she wore all the time on the series.

I can only speculate she wore those to compensate for her height. She's actually really tall for a female (Listed at 5' 9"), but her co-stars, Levi and Baldwin, are both listed at 6' 4". With those 5" heels she wore constantly, that put her at least close to eye to eye with them.

Just a shame she wasn't gagged more often, and better, on the series.

List of Marvel Family enemies
Oh, my God. I think I have found the most bondage-obsessed comics-related Wikipedia article ever.

This is an article about the villains in the Captain Marvel comics. It's huge and for some reason describes countless of scenes where a villain ties up and gags someone.

I mean... wow. There are over 57 instances of the word "gagged" in there. It should come in handy for you if you're looking for old comic scenes. The people who wrote this article have clearly done their research.

Another scene
Day: Saturday January 21 2012
Time: 2:00 AM Eastern
Channel: TCM

Record number: 6868

Title: The Town That Dreaded Sundown (1976)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Misty West

Description: Near the beginning of the film, tied naked to a tree by a psychopath. No gag.

We may want to pay attention to this when it shows on TV. I'm 90% sure there was another scene later on. A gal - I THOUGHT it was Dawn Wells (Gilligan's Island) - is grabbed by the killer, tied/wrapped to a tree, face to tree, hands wrapped around the tree, then (unfortunately) killed by a knife which was attached to a trumpet. A brutal scene, to be sure.

BTW, I had forgotten about Savage Abduction until someone mentioned it the other day. It was a great great long scene, and yes - I did have the original VHS box described. As I recall, it starred a young James Brolin as the biker who did the tieing & gagging on the pretty blonde.

A quick check at IMDB shows it WAS Dawn Wells, for you Gilligan fans. But, in case anyone cares, James Brolin was NOT listed in the credits for the other flick - (scene creep I guess).

BTW, while I'm thinking of older obscure flicks with good scenes, anyone recall some offbeat horror movie - from the 1960-70's probably - where a guy in mask grabs a pretty brunette, ties her hands behind, cleave gag, ties feet together and suspends her upside down. While suspended upside down, the killer approaches her with dagger & ends up killing her. The final sequence here shows a newspaper with her picture on it, and blood drops dripping onto the newspaper. Sound familiar at all??

You are right and wrong about the movie Old Man. There was a second, and much better scene, but it wasn't Dawn Wells. The second scene was with Cindy Butler forced to kneel against a tree, and then murdered. Dawn was in the movie as a victim, but she is shot and chased into the woods. No ropes for her. In any case, the database description isn't complete, so I'll update the entry.

Mission Impossible - Elizabeth Ashley NETFLIX
Title: Mission: Impossible (1966)
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Elizabeth Ashley

Description: Episode: "The Question" (7.16)

One of the all-time great scenes. As an IMF agent, she's kidnapped by an assassin. Her wrists and ankles are taped, and she is gagged on screen with a white handkerchief.

Well Sports Fans... Its on NETFLEX and for your info (and I had forgotten) there is a bonus scene prior to the main event. She is led out with her hands tied behind her back and forrced to kneel while the assassin puts a gun to her head as part of a "test." Also prior to that as she is walking into the room after what is to appear as an obvious interrogation she buttuns up her blouse leaving it up to your immagination.

The close up of the tape on her wristsa and ankles is somewhat lacking and not taped taunt.

NETFLIX provides a great clear picture.

I have this movie, there's no scene with Dawn Wells. The tied to a tree and killed with a trumpet scene involves a different actress.
