Wednesday February 15 00:40:11 2012 Question about accessing the archives |
Hey! I just wanted to start off by saying that this site is totally amazing, and pretty much unquestionably the absolute best damsel in distress resource on the internet. This is my first ever post, and I guess I will probably start posting more. My question is that I'm wondering how to access the much earlier pages in the discussion and video forums. Sometimes I come across them randomly in Google searches (which is a godsend!), but this is often very hit-or-miss. If someone could help me with this that'd be awesome! Also, for what it's worth, has anyone found any pics from Oliver Stones' Savages? I've been looking pretty hard for any info on this (well, anything related to the potential Blake Lively scene) for a while. Thanks! And keep up the damn good work!! |

I actually think he may be talking about the old dreambook version of Brian's Page. I've had those turn up from time to time in Google searches. |

I've sometimes wanted to do that myself, just to see what kinda discussions were had when certain scenes were first aired; Charisma Carpenter in Angel, for example. |

^ Actually, what IS the earliest date range for posts around here? I'd hazard a guess at.... 1998? Or does it cross over into Dreambook territory. |

A dvd was released of 20 classic as the world turns episodes. Do any of the episodes have a scene? |

Now, it is still running in Mexico and is just coming to its final episodes where the majority of the kidnappings and peril scenes happen on these shows, but I haven't heard of any scenes of interest at least through the first 140 episodes. |

Dextor, do you know - any storylines ramping up to a potential scene on this soap? I haven't been following it very closely, but I see it is nearing the end of it's run. |

Wednesday February 15 15:03:48 2012 Re: Charisma Carpenter |
I remember when we first spotted the preview showing Carisma Carpenter waqs going to get bound and gagged in the upcoming "Angel" episode. This board exploded with excitement. People here had wanted to see that for a long time. It reminded me of a line written in the old "bondage life" magazine (before the internet that magazine was our best hope for help in discovering scenes). They wrote: "Seeing Barbara Eden finally prperly bound and gagged (it was in "The Amazing Dobermans") was actually cathartic." |

There are about 3 separate plot lines that should put 3 different women in danger in the show's final weeks: the ex-prostitute (Viviana Corrales) who has a sicko brother who will finally be acting out his obsession with her; the prostitute (Carolina Gaitan) infiltrating the drug ring plot line; and the soap's central revenge plot line should put the title character (Monica Spear) in harm's way, probably in the final couple of episodes. So there's plenty of potential, but no idea if we'll get any actual scenes. Any day now, Telemundo will unveil the promo for the grand finale announcing the show's final air date and featuring scenes from the final 6-8 episodes -- if there are any b&g scenes, those grand finale promos almost always feature them. |

Sam Steffen wrote: > A dvd was released of 20 classic as the world turns > episodes. Do any of the episodes have a scene? I don't think so. They look to just be "memorable" episodes, featuring a bunch of the anniversaries and weddings. There is also a 20 episode set of "Guiding Light" and a separate release of Reva-centric episodes. More interesting than the DVD releases is the company releasing these DVDs, SoapClassics, bought the rights to all the old Procter & Gamble soaps: "As the World Turns," "Guiding Light," "Another World," "Texas," "The Edge of Night" and "Search for Tomorrow" and supposedly have plans to start streaming them online some time this year. I'll believe that when I see it, but if that does happen, their archives go back to about 1978 so we'd be getting a lot of old scenes (and probably some missed and forgotten scenes) in pristine quality. |

Wednesday February 15 18:33:38 2012 Identifying clip |
Hello all, I'm looking for an Asian clip (Chinese/Japanese/Thai) with the heroine tied hands behind and feet tied with a knotted cleave gag but two bumbling idiots. She is dragged to an open grave, which she tries to shuffle away from. The guy then tries to touch her face in a playful way and she fall over and gets a bloody nose. The heroine is rescued shortly after. Anyone have any idea what clips this is? Is it in the database? |

Wednesday February 15 18:45:18 2012 Missed time and show |
Tia Carrere has been bound and gagged a few times, but never on The Relic Hunter. In my opinion she was at her hottest on that show and could of been gagged in many episodes. Can anyone name other damsels who have had good scenes but just missed that great gag scene at the perfect time and show? |

If you want to do a bit of work, you can finagle the date view. If you look at one of the links, you see: http://brianspage.com/showday.php?fname=discussion%2Fhtml%2F045-2012 The last bit is the "Julian day" of the year, and year. You can use the table below to get the JD and just put together a link. So, March 15th would be JD 74, so the calendar link for 3/15/2011 would be: http://brianspage.com/showday.php?fname=discussion%2Fhtml%2F074-2011 Not super convenient, but it will get you there. Then you can use the calendar pages around the day to get others. |

Sam wrote: > ^ Actually, what IS the earliest date range for posts The earliest available is somewhat later. I had to archive some at one point for space reasons. I'd have to look at the directory to see what the earliest is. I could move the others in, as we got upgraded in space a while back. We'll see. |

Has anyone seen this movie? Checked the message boards and the DB and no mention. Kate Bosworth looks absolutely stunning, but I am guessing there was no scene. Thanks. |

In the opening scene the blackmailer told Emily Van De Camp's character if she calls the cops he'll kill her friend. The camera pans down to a girl with her wrists cuffed to a rope around a pole and she cleaved gagged with a black cloth. She looks like she is wearing an evening gown. |

No, it doesn't. There are only the two looks at Margarita. The first as the show begins is the only look at the gag. The 2nd scene is longer, but the gag is already out of her mouth and around her neck. |
