The Batgirl scene suffered from the "magic disappearing ropes' filmwork. If she had stayed in the ropes it would have been so much more epic. She ended up laying on her hands behind her back, which wasn't all that believable.
Yea I'm asking for believability from Batman.

Nice to know I'm not the only "old-timer" out there! For me, it was the Gene Autry Show in an episode called "Silver Dollars." Wendy Waldron is hunted down by two bad guys; they lasso her, the one shouts, "It's about time you helped", to which the other replies, "Shut up and get that gag on her!" She mmphs like crazy, then they mount her, bound and gagged, on horseback and gallop away. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Re: Yvonne Craig
I don't necessarily think her Batman scenes were better than her Uncle scene, but I know that I saw her Batman "Dressed to Kill" scene first and it instantly jumped out at me as something I liked seeing.
Classic line by Eartha Kitt: "Angora gag her! Crimefightresses are to be seen and not heard!"

Fear Factor
There was some crappy hand bondage on Fear Factor last night. I was looking for the women to get their feet tied. There was one segment where the contestants had their feet strapped together against a board. The putzes were the ones getting their feet strapped. Very disappointing show! I missed the Grammy's for this? I'm an idiot.

Yeah, I have yet to see any evidence of Jenny McCarthy's ballgagged scene on Singled Out. Not a likely show to ever come out on DVD or air in reruns or anything, I don't know if I'll ever see that one.

Maximum Conviction
The plot COULD have something with the 2 female prisoners.
The movie is not dated yet, some perhaps some more intel as the release date draws near.

Downton Abbey
Don't know if this has ever been mentioned (not in database) but there is a handgag in the third episode, first season, of Downton Abbey. Mary handgags a servant girl. Well into the episode, after her encounter with the dashing Turk in her bedroom.

Call me weird (I've been called plenty worse), but I just want to thank ss for not only advising us of this scene, but spelling "Downton Abbey" correctly. Yes, I'm that guy.

Yea, I know there's other old-timers here. Once upon a time I even met 2 of them personally, once at his house.

And, that's why this *Question* is always so wildly interesting... to see what different age groups sign in & respond. I wouldn't mind reading feedback on this every year, or more frequently even.

Just to prove my memory is STILL good, at least in these kind of matters...(hehe) the dialogue was actually "Maybe you can get Miss Lane to play CANASTA with you" I believe.

Assorted movie channels used to show crappy old movies like this once in a while. But now, even though there's a zillion more TV channels then there used to be, doesn't look like there's any chance to see this broadcast ever again. <sigh!!>

It did happen. I think someone had a couple of stills of it. Not that great -- she had a stupid expression, and there was, of course, the mandatory putz nearby.

Re: Jenny McCarthy
If I recall right the ballgag was oversized for her mouth.

I am a kid of the 70's and 80's. Batgirl was first. Wonderwoman, Scooby-Doo and as a teen hit a double whammy when on the same night Heather Locklear was tied and gagged on one channel and Stephanie Kramer was Tied and Gagged an hour later on a different channel.
