Quick scene with a pretty native American cop tied hand and foot and gagged with a blue bandana. Two very fast shots. Gag starts out as neatly folded OTM and ends up as a nice neat cleave. |

In the parlance of bondage enthusiasts such as ourselves, this is referred to as a "gag continuity problem", when one type of gag somehow inexplicably becomes another type. Most common are OIM gags becoming cleave gags. |

Can someone please tell me how a "detective gag" differs from an "OTM gag?" Thanks. |

Or it could be that a detective gag is specifically a very wide band of patterned cloth, old school like; whereas OTM is more like a generic term for any width beyond a cleave. That's what I've always thought, anyway. |

Newbie wrote: > Can someone please tell me how a "detective > gag" differs from an "OTM gag?" Thanks. Wikipedia- It is sometimes called the "detective gag" because many of its first appearances were in crime serials. It is sometimes called an "over the mouth" (OTM) gag |

It is sometimes called an "over the > mouth" (OTM) gag It can also be called a "Hollywood gag" because it was the predominant type of gag used on actresses during the early years of the cinema industry. We refer to it as the "OTM gag" on this online forum. |

Does this scene seem familiar to anyone? I'm guessing it's Spanish, and that the actress is Sasha Montenegro but I'm not sure. |
