Yeah I remember this one quite well. I imagine the issue is still hanging around my mom & dad's house someplace with the hundreds of other Archie comics we had as kids. Betty & Veronica were listening to records ("records??? What are those????"), and Veronica sees a burglar looking thru the window. She tuns out of the room & the baddie grabs Betty & handgags her. As Ronnie is trying to call the cops on the phone the crook cuts the line & gags Veronica, and brings her back to the living room where Betty is hogtied & cleave gagged. Veronica is similiarly tied & he leaves. The girls manage to grab a pair of scissors & free each other. A really top notch comic scene! |

Veronica was out of the room and Betty was captured, tied up, and gagged. When Veronica discovered he was in the house she called the police just as he cut the phone Hey you have great taste Betty has always been my favorite of all the cartoon girls bound and gagged. A couple artists did Archie and they both did some great bondage scenes. I have a buhch of them that are not on sleepy comics. Fuzz had some cool stuff years ago on hise site. One with a haunted house and one with mummies. Also there is a great one where Betty gets bound and gagged on a boat. And of courst there is the basement scene as well. |

| While the page is in a slower period right now anyway, I'm wondering if anyone else would be interested in the following thread: "What popular, BIG NAME STARS have had an extended (not a blink & you'd miss it) quality scene throughout their career??" I'd nominate CAMERON DIAZ, who among a few lesser scenes, got several minutes in the first, and by far best, scene from HEAD ABOVE WATER (entry below). Her minutes in this scene even included a OTS carrying scene, which is rare in mainstream media. Others anyone?? Record number: 414 Title: Head Above Water (1996) Medium: Movie Actress: Cameron Diaz Description: Cameron Diaz is bound three times in the movie but gagged only once (almost twice but Harvey Keital is talked out of it). In the first scene she is bound and gagged with a lime as packing and a white scarf to cover her mouth, hands tied behind the back and her ankles bound. In the next scene she is bound to a chair. And the last scene her hands are bound in front of her and her feet are cemented into a bucket. |

You've got a blindfold, serious mmpphhing from an attractive tape gag, great expressions, comedic tone, fiestiness (I LOVE it when a damsel curses & swears like no tomorrow), and it's a decent length. So I'd say it's quite an underappreciated scene, whereas Head Above Water gets overrated a lot in DiD circles. |

Nicole Kidman's scene in Batman Forever was a rather lengthy scene. It was pretty high quality too with the exception of the flashing lights being overused. |

I liked LLO also. But, I really liked the flung-over-the-shoulders carrying in HAW, along with the way Keitel dumped her back on the couch after the carry. The second & third scenes in HAW were total garbage IMO. |

Marisa Tomei in "The Watcher" (2000) was one of the few in that category. |
