The gritty tone of Nolan's Batman films isn't given to a scene for the Catwoman character. (Then again, the character itself seems rather out of place for this film series as well.) I'd love a scene for Hathaway, but I'd be pretty shocked if it happened this way. (Of course, I'd love to be wrong.) Hayley Atwell's an excellent choice too. She's super-cute. |

| "Pilar" (Maritza Rodriguez) is bound and gagged in Tuesday's episode. Her hands are bound behind her back, her feet are bound, and she is gagged with a thick, white, over-the-mouth gag. There are a lot of great shots, including plenty of closeups. I kept hoping that the gag would NOT get removed, and that is what happened. She remained gagged the entire time! The scene will continue. With her black outfit and golden blond hair, she looks like Black Canary! |

But Nolan obviously isn't averse to bondage, since the female lead in the last movie was tied up and a lot of other people ended up bound and tape-gagged. In particular, there was the scene where a group of cops were left tied and tape-gagged so the Joker's henchmen could steal their uniforms. Maybe we'll get extremely lucky and there will be a scene where Ms. Hathaway has to tie up and gag some unlucky dame to impersonate her for a robbery? :D |

I would just expect any tie-up scenes to be fairly gritty, in keeping with the tone of the series: handcuffs, zip ties, duct tape, that sort of thing, and very unlikely for any of that to occur to Catwoman in costume (well, perhaps handcuffs if arrested or zip ties if Batman has to restrain her, something like that). Then again, part of the fun of this "interest" is that you never know. Sitcoms rarely produce scenes, and yet (as we were discussing just the other day), Alison Brie ended up getting two different gags in two different scenes in the second episode of Community. (Granted, it's a very different type of sitcom.) So anything's possible. And with that, I'm probably on the verge of pushing it with the Mod, so I'll bow out of this one. :) |

| Ungagged for a bit, but re-gagged at 23 minute mark. The rope binding her to the pew is also loosely looped around her legs, and there's a nice shot of her kicking that shows her bare feet, her shoes are on the floor below her. |

Actress does a great job of selling the scene - looks to be really struggling (as much as the rather loose roping will stand), and did some nice mmmphing. It's also nice that she's wearing a short and fairly sexy dress. Sooo tired of U.S. damsels being in baggy clothes. There are other actresses on the soap I would have preferred be given a shot or return engagement, but I'm glad OLTL is going out with some good action. |
