Years ago Brian made the ruling that content was the deciding factor not availability. So if one of the premium cbale channels runs a late night show that deals with a bondage fetish event, or profiles a past, or present, bondage model/producer/rigger that show is Off Topic for here despite the fact that a mainstream TV channel aired it. |

Monday January 09 12:17:45 2012 Identify A Scene Please! |
To belatedly wish David Bowie a happy birthday, can anyone identify this scene? I saw it before a B.B. King video once, but I'm not sure it's connected to that video of the bluesman. It was a fierce looking David with a gagged female at his shoulder and he was holding at a gun and making a threat to someone out of camera shot. I saw it ages ago and I was wondering what it could be? I did think "The Linguini Incident", but according to the database, there's no gags in that film. Or even women with things tied around their mouths. |

In "Everybody Loves Sunshine" Bowie plays the manager of a club who is an associate of some vicious thugs. At one point a gagged and bound woman is held in his club, and he chokes her to death while she is still tied and gagged on orders from one of the gangsters. Might have been an OTS scene, but I don't remember it. It's a brutal, vicious movie, and like a lot of people have said recently, it kills a scene when I know the damsel gets snuffeth. |

Perhaps to recreate the mass B&G scene that she missed out on |

(unsigned poster) wrote: > > Likely will be a major letdown, given Kate's track > record I don't understand the pessimism. Kate's usually the lead in her movies, thus lessening the likelihood of a scene. In this one, she's playing the lead's wife, and we already know for a fact her character gets kidnapped. That's an entirely different context. Still doesn't mean she'll get a scene, but she's no less likely to get one here than any other actress would be. I'll remain hopeful. |

I know the Flygirls being tied was played for laughs but that has to rank high on the list of ineffectual tying. |

The jargon term "loosie bondage" applies, but I think this is something else. It's a very old joke which has been "told" a zillion times, a actor gets rid of rival or rivals by "tying them up." The dirty deed is exposed to the audience and everybody laughs. We've seen it on variety shows, talk shows, TV commercials, etc. I propose the new jargon term "Symbolic Bondage" for this situation. sym·bo·lic bon·dage (sim-bôl'ik bôn'dij) noun. The use of restraint as a dramatic device. By no means are "symbolic bondage" and "loosie bondage" (blatantly ineffective restraint) mutually exclusive. In fact, I bet a Venn diagram of "symbolic" and "loosie" would show mostly overlap. Loosie addresses the what question. Symbolic addresses the why question. That said, there's absolutely no reason that door couldn't have opened and Fly Girls in super-tight and elaborate Shibari bondage and tight gags couldn't have spilled out. So... why didn't it happen? Ease of production, of course. (Van's Second Law of Mainstream Media Bondage: Bad bondage happens 'cause it's cheap, fast, and easy.) Symbolic bondage is used not just for joke punchlines. Lazy directors use it for action/adventure, as well. We've all seen kidnap victims on cop shows who might as well be holding a coil of rope with a sign around their neck reading "BOUND & GAGGED." That's symbolic bondage in action. ;-) |

Last week, someone called Kane maybe capturing Eve. It hasn't happened but Kane is stalking Ryder tonight who's character has a date with Eve afterwards. She has a match tonight with Beth Phoenix so maybe something happens before or afterwards. To whoever called it, it would be great if it happened. |

In the first 15 minutes, two gals end up in a cage that is to be submerged into a pool. Two different gals are placed in cage and have each arm tied off to each side off her. The partner as to cut the metal cable that is strapped to the floor to free them. NBC at 9pm |

Eve's match is coming up next for those interested. USA Network for those in the US. |

There was an example of this on a Bud Light commercial IIRC. A group of guys taking the place of a female band by bounding and gagging the group of girls in the back. |

I bet Kane is in the car and will drive off with her after Ryder is done changing the tire. i'd love to see Eve gagged. Kane has captured men and women before and once he gagged Great Khali's brother with a black bandana. Eve will look great any way she is gagged though. Please capture her. |
