Monday January 16 11:56:08 2012 This Happen To Anybody Else |
As a kid you saw a scene in a TV show/movie that really grabbed you. Recently you saw the same show/movie and were really disappointed because it was nowhere near as good as you remembered. One of the local TV stations uses "THIS" as place to show network programing when the regular station is showing some local sporting event that the general manager thinks is really important. The rest of the time its normally scheduled "THIS" programming, old movies and syndicated shows. One of the old shows in the 1950s "Highway Patrol". A few of the episodes stll work for me, but most are "I searched for that ??". The 'Dry Cleaners clerk tied up by the escaped women convicts' episode was especially disappointing this time around. Anybody else experience this ??? |

The old "scene creep" phenomenon. I can't actually think of any time I've been disappointed by a scene after watching it again in adulthood. Quite the opposite, often I've ended up liking it even more. I only have about 4 holy grails left (all of which are totally impossible to find), and I bet all of them would be more or less as good as I remember them. |

Monday January 16 14:18:32 2012 Desperate Housewives |
The rumor about "Susan" (Teri Hatcher) and "Gaby" (Eva Longoria) being bound and gagged by mobsters sometime this season may actually be true. In Sunday's episode, Susan's husband made enemies with a lone shark when he convinced his boss not to accept the loan shark's money. There is nothing in the preview for next week's episode about this, but there could be something later this season. |

Zarak wrote: > The rumor about "Susan" (Teri Hatcher) and > "Gaby" (Eva Longoria) being bound and gagged by No, it was BS. It said the scenes were written and to air in the season premiere. The show always has a good premise late in the year, but hasn't produced anything. Hopefully, something will pan out. |

I find it an incredibly frustrating show in regards to our prurient interest and also generally lame overall. Gaby shouldve had a scene by now. This is alittle more frustrating for me since Eva Longoria has openly stated she love being tied up in real life. One particular setup was when Carlos the husband goes to prison and Gaby just lost her pregancy. A thuggish looking Mexican played by Danny Trejo (who always gets those roles)comes looking for Gaby. He tells her that Carlos sent him to help with something but he doesn't exactly say what it is. Anyways, the scene plays out to seem that Gaby has just been kidnapped. Especially when Trejo's car is shown to be locked up on the passenger-side with the door handles taken out. He turns to Gaby and says something like "I'm not here about Carlos" and they drive away with her looking scared. It cuts to commercial, and I remember me absolutely twitching with excitement to see her bound and gagged. Buuuuut, it was a false alarm and Trejo turns out to be a harmless reformed life coach of sorts. LAME!!! |

Title: JAG Medium: TV Series Actress: Catherine Bell Description: Episode: "The Stalker" (3.17) I remembered it like this: The captor hears the good guy entering so he took the duct tape roll, tore a piece of tape and gagged Catherine Bell with it. But the scene was: The captor hears the good guy entering, camera cut to the good guy and then back to Catherine Bell already gagged face with the captor hands over her mouth. I also remembered it a bit longer, and Catherine Bell was blonde the way I remembered it (she had blonde highlights in the next seasons). |

steve a wrote: > Tell me more about this Casualty scene, I might be able > to help. I can't describe it very well on here because the "numbers" don't tally up for the damsel (if you know what I mean), although the scene was completely harmless otherwise. The only things I can mention are: damsel gets kidnapped with her brother at some point in the episode, mother tries frantically to find them around the hospital, after which they're later found in the boot of a hatchback car, pretty much safe & sound; red cleave gag for her, hands behind back, doe-eyed expression, single shot which lasted 5secs at the most. Just a cute quickie scene. It's not actually that much of a holy grail in terms of content, but rather a scene which I wouldn't mind seeing again, since it was one of the very first times I ever saw a cleave gag on TV (or anywhere for that matter). |

There was also the hand-gag scene last year in the finale that led to nothing, and in the season before, they had a guy B&G upstairs and Gaby comes strolling in being all nosy and that led to nothing. She did have the nice tie-up scene in her bed, but even that one should have been a gag scene. After Carlos ties her down so he can sleep in the next room, he doesn't even gag her to stop her from yapping. |
Monday January 16 21:08:35 2012 Missy Peregrym - Rookie Blue |
Missy had a comment on being handcuffed on "Rookie Blue" on her Twitter page meljohnson6585: how tight are handcuffs for you? like, how tight did the (sic) cuff you when you were training and preparing for this role? mperegrym: it wasn't that tough. When you do take after take, it can kill the wrists... you know. |

Keep in mind the scene you say you remember might very well have been there originally. The scene might have been longer on the original airing but cut later on for syndicated purposes. The repeats we see airing might very well be edited versions of the original episiodes... |

Monday January 16 23:07:12 2012 La Casa De Al Lado |
In Monday's episode, "Pilar" (Maritza Rodriguez) wears a surgical mask in a hospital when visiting someone who was shot. Also in Monday's episode, Pilar's daughter is kidnapped by "Raquel" (Pilar's evil twin). The preview for Tuesday's episode shows the daughter bound and gagged. I don't know the name of the actress that plays the daughter. The shots in the preview of the daughter bound and gagged are great. |

Anahi is one exotic looking chica. Although the tape gag looks alittle loose to me, I love the helpless expression from her beautiful eyes. Thanks for the post, Dextor!!! |

Do you mean that they have all been bound and gagged in La Casa De Al Lado or are you including other shows as well? Rosalinda Rodriguez plays the maid (I don't know the character's name)? |
