Saturday December 24 09:33:56 2011 Monica Bellucci |
Hello ! I would like to know if Monica Bellucci got the full treatment (bound and gagged) once in her filmography (not counting her handgag scene in Irréversible). Thanks in advance ! |

Saturday December 24 10:54:44 2011 Los 80 |
In doing a little research, I've come to find out more about the story line of "Los 80", and an understanding of the characters, specificaly Loreto Aravena who plays (Claudia Herrera). From what I can tell the drama is set in the mid 80's and it focuses on the hardships of the decade throughout the country of Chile which are loosly based around real events. The man that kidnaps Miss Araveva is a CNI agant posing as a cab driver. He's trying to get to her boyfriend to kill him. The boy friend is in a rival organization. It's believed she is involved but realy isn't. So the bondage scene is somewhat of a surprise and not typical for the show. A rare bonus... It's not a telenovela or a cop drama. The show follows a family's experience with hardship during the difficult times in Chile. It makes me think of the awesome Duct Tape scene in "Ulee's Gold". It's completely unexpected and a bonus... Can anyone think of other films or TV shows that have surprise unexpected bondage scenes in the story line?? |

Further more, after all is said and done, the Agent finds out that the girl he kidnapped is his niece. Earlier in the scene, the man that comes knocking on the agents door is his brother, that's why she's struggling so desperately... |

In the meantime, here's hoping they put up a still or two - Allison's adorable and her intelligence makes her even more attractive. Can't wait for this one - the movie itself looks great and there's really nothing like seeing a cute girl tied up and gagged with the classic red/blue bandanna. :) |

Duct tape: modern, readily available on set, looks secure, "criminal" in it's appearance, cruel, dark, intense etc Cloth: nostalgic, no one carries hankies anymore, perceived as ineffective, perceived as sensuous and romantic You might think scarves would still be popular as people use scarves but even that is passe. |

Scarves are probably in that same boat for the most part. More of a sensual, deliberately erotic thing rather than something practical. Like you mentioned, duct tape is readily available and sensible for many scenes, particularly crime dramas, and has a grittiness. Cloth and scarves are the kinds of things that immediately scream titilation. |

Cleave gags are also fashioned from stockings, neckties, and other similar fabrics that are handy. If you actually had to bind and gag a damsel in a pinch--a situation that's not premeditated, that is--you're much more likely to fashion something from a handy fabric than have duct tape on hand. I agree that duct tape is understandably more common on police procedurals and such, and I've resigned myself to the fact that most scenes in that type of show will use duct tape. However, we still see a lot of cleave gags in a lot of shows, and there is no indication at all that they're going to disappear. |

It will be around for a long time. As a mater of fact didn't someone post that Maritza Rodriguez is going to bound and gagged with an OTM on La Casa De Alado. In addition, it seems to me that the Spanish soaps leans toward using cloth gags in their bondage scenes. |

Depends on your pov. As an over the mouth gag snob, I think there are way too many cleave gag scenes out there. |

There's room for either in my world. I have an argument for either side. Though I prefer Cleave, Duct tape is always welcome... |
