There's been at least a few, according to McGuire's columns. One was a scene with Linda Darnell, maybe it was Two Flags West(?), and there was definitely one with Suzanne Pleshette in The Power. (These are off the top of my head; I'll double check his Bound For Hollywood columns later). Older movies were often trimmed to fit into TV schedules. As far as your comment "no one noticed"... I don't know. It seems Brians Page posters are comprised mostly of younger individuals these days, so... (Sorry, don't know your age)... BTW, my memory maintains that the scene in question happened early in the movie - right after she was kidnapped - probably before she was taken captive/brought to his house. The scene made such an impression on me that I went to a public library in the next few days and found/borrowed the book that movie was based on. |

I just researched McGuire's columns, and my memory was indeed correct (no small feat these days) on Two Flags West (1950) and The Power (1968). Incidentally, I also have book called BONDAGE FANTASIES IN POPULAR ENTERTAINMENT, by Allen Marburger - a great book for listing scenes BTW - and, on page 129, in a little section called Odds & Ends ("What follows amounts to a random title list of feature films which contain disparate bondage sequences. Some are rather slight; some are substantial)... What follows is (among many others): A Cry In The Night (1956) Policeman's daughter Natalie Wood is kidnapped on Lover's Lane by a deranger man. |

I'll know right away if this is the movie I remember, as soon as I see the villain (Raymond Burr). He was very thin, and wore a spring type jacket, kind of like the ones a baseball pitcher wears when entering the game. It was light - like tan - but don't know the color since I saw the movie on a small B/W TV. And, I think the gal wore a dark, long sleeve dress. (It's been well over 40 years since I saw this). I sure can't wait. |

Aishwarya Rai gets gagged at the beginning of the trailer od Hindi blockbuster Raavan. The movie will be released on 18th June, there may be some other scenes. The trailer is on the video page. I've found also a still of her blindfolded. http://www.allaishwarya.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=183&pos=6 |

I saw this movie on TV many years ago and can verify that unfortunately there was no bondage scene. With a gorgeous young Natalie Wood, I've always thought it was one of the greatest missed opportunities. It's always possible that the local channel may have cut the scene to fit in a time slot, and I'm sure I'll record it when it appears on TCM next week in that hope. |

There is some handgag action, though. |

Thursday June 10 19:46:24 2010 Tiempo finale has a bound and gag scene tonight. |
I posted this on the VCR alert page today. The promo for Tiempo finale shows Maria Sorte bound and gagged on a couch. The same promo shows the gag hanging around her neck. I hope it's a lenghty scene. |

I came on the scene at 10:12 and it ended at 10:20, or at least the gag part ended at the time Maria Sorte remained to the end of this half hour episode. There's a putz in the scene but she gets most of the best shots. The gag is one of those half in half out cloth gags. I would have preferred to see Gretel Valdez, the other woman in the episode, but you take what you can get. |

That said, Maria Sorte has not been given the treatment in qutie a while at her age, so I guess I just have to be satisfied with what I get. |
