Title: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Medium: TV Series Actress: Alyson Hannigan Description: Description: Episode: "When She Was Bad" (2.1) Buffy has returned to Sunnydale from her stay in Los Angeles and is soon caught up vampire slaying. Cordy (Carpenter) is handgagged and dragged into a locked room where she finds computer teacher Jenny Calendar (LaMorte) unconscious. Later they are suspended upside down along with Willow (Hannigan) and Giles (Anthony Stewart Head) on a sort of moveable rack. The rack moves them above the Master’s bones in preparation for a bloodletting that will revive him. Buffy saves the day, with some help from Angel (David Boreanaz) and Xander (Nicholas Brendon). The scene consists of brief glimpses shot from behind and is a bit disappointing. (Not to nitpick but shouldn’t Charisma Carpenter and Robin La Morte be listed in the actress field along with Hannigan? Also LaMorte should be La Morte in the description – my mistake.) *** Record number: 1328 Title: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Medium: TV Series Actress: Alexandra Johnes, Charisma Carpenter Description: Episode: "School Hard" (2.3) Bad little rich girl Sheila Martini (Johnes) is having a bad day. First, she blows off all her dates and now she's kidnapped by vampires and dragged to their underground lair at the cemetary. She's wearing a black sleeveless blouse. Her wrists are bound over her head and she's tightly cleave-gagged by a thick white cloth. She's left that way for an extended period before the vampires cut her down, menace her, then turn her into a vampire. Very nice scene. Meanwhile, Cordelia (Carpenter) and Willow witness the transformation. Cordelia nearly screams, but Willow handgags her so she doesn't give away their location. Ms. Johnes' scene starts around the 25' mark, Ms. Carpenter's is about 38' in. (Saw this episode yesterday and think the first paragraph should be replaced with something like the one below) Outside the Bronze nightclub the vampire Spike (James Marsters in his first appearance on the show) charms bad girl Sheila Martini (Johnes) into leaving with him. She’s next seen at his lair standing/suspended with her wrists bound over her head and tightly cleave-gagged by a thick white cloth. She’s wearing a black sleeveless blouse. She's left that way for an extended period while Spike talks with his feeble vampire lover Drusilla (Juliet Landau). The scene ends when he cuts Sheila down and hands her to Drusilla, begging her to “eat something”. As an added bonus to this very nice scene, Drusilla’s vintage dolls (including her precious Miss Emily) appear and they all have dark cloth over the mouth gags on. |

Anyway, I've corrected the entry. BTW, it's Robia La Morte. > *** > > Record number: 1328 > > Title: Buffy the Vampire Slayer > Medium: TV Series > Actress: Alexandra Johnes, Charisma Carpenter > > Description: Episode: "School Hard" (2.3) > > > (Saw this episode yesterday and think the first paragraph > should be replaced with something like the one below) > > Outside the Bronze nightclub the vampire Spike (James > Marsters in his first appearance on the show) charms bad > girl Sheila Martini (Johnes) into leaving with him. I thought my entry was rather clever, especially since I based it on a set of vidcaps. Well, as Hemingway said about editing (at least I think it was Hemingway), "You've got to kill your darlings." |

Record number: 6600
Title: Flintstones, The (1960) Medium: TV Series Actress: animated: (voiced by Jean Vander Pyl) Description: Episode: "The Story Of Rocky's Raiders" (6.26) Fred tells the story of his WWI war hero ancestor, a man who, by glancing at a map, could tell whether there'd be a handy haywagon to escape the bad guys, or a house where a glamerous captured spy might be secreted. Fred's ancestor manages to rescue said spy, who looks suspiciously like Fred's wife, Wilma. She's tied convincingly to a chair (more convincing, any way, than her bad French Mati Hari accent) and questioned by nasty bad guys when the heros burst onto the scene. >Duplicate with 7405. However the last line of the description should be changed to: "and questioned by nasty bad guys. When she refuse to speak they suspend her AOH and torture her (water torture)." |
