Thursday June 13 12:08:33 2002 Recent McGyver Entry |
> Record number: 7399 > Title: MacGyver > Medium: TV Series > Actress: Elyssa Davalos > > Description: MacGyver is searching an office while Nikki > Carpenter (Davalos) pretends to be a maid on her to the "I found two episode guides for MacGyver. Unfortunately, Nikki Carpenter was a recurring character during the 3rd season. There's not enough information in the description to match it with either sites' episode descriptions." David: We may have some luck here? Suspect by the way it entered (No episode title and spacing like the others), the fella didn't check the DB first before entering. It may be same episode as one already entered? So good chance one of the collectors will scan the scene eps-find-ID? Like Paul Maurice said, got to think positive no matter what. ;) |

Regarding record 7402:
The actual title for the cartoon is "I'll never crow again." It's one of the classic black & white Popeye cartoons from the 1940s. |

Jay, I changed the entries title to "Popeye: I'll Never Crow Again (1941)" and the medium to "Other". The cartoon was originally shown as a short in movie theatres so calling it "TV series" isn't really accurate, unlike cartoons which were developed for television like "Scooby Doo". For the Three Stooges shorts, we've titled them: "Three Stooges: Musty Musketeers" and the like, so we'd be consistent on that score. For the Stooges shorts, we've used "Movie" as the medium, but I just can't bring myself to call a seven minute cartoon a movie. |

>Wrong title, B&W 1940
Hi Sorry for the mistake. I watched the episode on "Cartoon Network Asia" with translated title. The TV series is called "Popeye" and it is a Color TV series, not "Black and White". I assume they make the TV series in 1956 (it's my mistake). What is your decision about the category? Is it "TV Series" or other? |

Thursday June 13 23:09:24 2002 Popeye |
Hi
There are several DID scenes other episodes of the same TV Series (from Cartoon Network Asia): 1. A magician try to steal diamond from Olive Oyl. She was kidnapped, bound and gagged. 2. Adventure in a Circus. Bluto tied Olive Oyl hand around a tall pole (without any rope!!). The TV Series is a color cartoon and not "Black and White". They show 3 different Popeye cartoons on each episode (30 minutes). Is this a TV series or "Other" category? |
