Ok, that's good information.

Good, if you're monitoring and/or have other watching,
then we can leave them out until we get positive
confirmation that they should go in.

My concern is deleting stuff without sufficient cause,
sounds like you have other independent data. As I said,
it's posted to Discussion, that'll give people a chance
to chime it if they have something.

Hope I didn't sound too gruff, as always I appreciate
the fine job you and the others do.

Yeah, those entires are so obviously false because nothing of that nature has ever happened on Neighbours. My sister religiously watches it (Honest!) and there's no way 2 scenes like that would've slipped by me. I am 100% certain: THEY ARE FAKE.

Hmmm....

Record number: 7334
Title: Nightmare in Columbia County (1991)
Medium: TV Movie
Actress: Jeri Ryan (?)

Description: Standard issue daughter-kidnapped-and-held-for-ransom TV Movie o' the Week that SMG is quoted as never getting enuff (sic) of. Not a lot of our damsel is seen, save for a great scene in the back of the abductors car, kicking her bound legs, screaming loudly through a cleave gag, etc. The film has one of those sappy endings where everyone can go on with there (sic) lives regardless of previous events.

Well, I seem to remember this one a little differently...

For one thing, this film is based upon a true story, which didn't have a happy ending, either for the victim or her abductor (he was caught, tried, convicted, and executed, thank goodness). Furthermore, if memory serves, the victim was played by Michele Abrams, not Ryan, who played her sister. I'm almost certain I remember Ryan giving out a loud "Sherrrrrr-IEEEEEEE!" when she realizes her sister is missing just before the above-described scene.

And calling it a "scene" is, to be truthful, stretching the definition a bit. We see things from Abrams' perspective, looking up from the back seat of the bad guy's car as he roars off with his captive; the gag is only implied by her mmphing. The car stops, the back door opens, and we're treated to a second or two of Abrams furiously flailing away at the baddie with her legs-which, contrary to the above, are not bound-before the sequence fades to black. Nary an inch of rope, cloth or tape is ever seen.

All that said, I still consider it one of the more intriguing entries in my collection. I'll leave the question of whether it belongs in the database up to the Big Guy Who Pays for the Bandwidth.
