Title: Fatal Pulse (1988) Medium: Movie Actress: Skylar Nicholas, Christie Mucciante Description: Female college student is kidnapped and tied by her wrists with her arms spread. She begs for mercy but is gagged (onscreen) with a thick cloth. She continues to scream through the gag until the bad guy electrocutes her. (The gagging is convincing, the electrocution is not.) Not a long scene but an enjoyable one. Later, another actress is bound to a table (but not gagged) as the murderer covers her with liquid concrete. Record number: 2816 Title: Evil Laugh (1988) Medium: Movie Actress: Karyn O'Bryan Description: Fun and games in your typical old run-down house. An orphanage in this case, wherein was done to death - nastily, too - some orphans ten years previously. Now a posse of medical students are to reopen the abandoned building. They move in and the mayhem starts. One by one they are done in by a masked assailant. Best scene - a young couple go to their bedroom to have sex. Betty (O'Bryan) wants her boyfriend to tie her to the bed. He complies (wouldn't we all, given half the chance?) ties her to head of the bed in an upper-spread eagle and cleave gags with a black cloth for good measure. Before they proceed he decides to go down to the kitchen and fetch some whipped cream. Downstairs he gets engaged in a debate with another guy. Meanwhile the slasher has entered the bedroom and the helpless captive can do nothing. He knocks her out. When the boyfriend returns and leans over her she revives but her frantic struggles and mumbles are interpreted as part of the fun. Behind the boyfriend is the slasher. Too late - the couple comes to an unhappy end. Typical nasty slasher movie, but the scene does have some nice close-ups. Maybe it's just a detail... an important one for me though, and perhaps for others too. I'd like to point out: 1) Skylar Nicholas (the b&g damsel in 'Fatal Pulse') is cleave-gagged with a cloth strip and topless. 2) Karyn o'Bryan (Evil Laugh) is dressed in black bra and panties when in bondage. |

While Julia tries to get rid of policeman Jack in living room, David handgags Carly in backroom. When he comes back into living room, we see Carly tied up gagged with white cloth in backroom. Stenbeck then threatens to shoot Carly and we get a closeup of Carly gagged. He then shoots at her, misses on purpose as Carly falls to the ground. Julia, who sees no bondage in this storyline, goes in an ungags Carly while she's still on the floor. |

Actually the character of "Julia" does spend a couple of episodes bound in this storyline (if it's the same one). At first she's tied hands behind and then is tied sitting (on the floor) back to back with "Carly" in a store room. They manage to knock a jar off a shelf and use the broken glass to cut themselves free. They were being held by "David Stenbeck" and "Carly" was pregnant. Ran across a couple of these episodes a few months back while scanning some unlabelled tapes. |
