My favourite is Olga, based on this from ep description: "But when neighbours Doug and Andrea Patton invite them to the first of many parties on the estate, Jack starts to suspect things are not quite what they appear"

"Jack and Kay are shocked to discover that Doug's "lifestyle parties" are the 21st century equivalent of the Seventies swinging scene."

"the couple attend a party still fuming with each other and stumble into a very adult version of Blind Man's Buff."

Appears "Swinger Olga" is hosting the party, and most likely involved in the Blindfold Game?

Sound about right to you fellas?

The beautiful Ms Tomelty plays an Oxford Professor with sidelines in writing detective novels and amateur sleuthing.Talk about your cliches! It IS very good nonetheless.
Captured by a crazed thespian playing the role of Richard III, she is placed at the bottom of the shaft containing the half-ton counterweight for a stage star trap!
She sits on the floor, her knees up, her hands bound in front palm to palm as if in prayer! She is gagged with a wad of green silky cloth which spills out of her mouth. The wad is held in place by white crepe bandage which has been wound so as to cleave tightly between her teeth and run, conventionally, round the back of her neck.A second, or possibly the same, lenghth of crepe bandage is wound outside of her mouth so as to secure the protuding part of the wad. This length runs diagonally behind the back of her head and over her philtrum!Either they wanted to portray a hurriedly applied and untidy but effective gag, or the director has interesting tastes...?Anyway.A marvellous exposition/gloat by the villainous thespian ensues. He slangs off her novels and, while our helpless heroine looks at him pleadingly with her huge dark Irish eyes, explains the mechanism of the star trap and how, come Act 5, Scene 3 and the appearence of the ghost, she will be well and trully squished!Good stuff!!The scene is of reasonable length, well lit and with excellent facial close-up/rection shots.Oh, by the way, she does not get squished.

I did check out the end credits, the Unknown would appear to be an uncredited extra.....She is only briefly seen in the distance as the three named actresses depart upstairs. It was deinitely not the lovely Ms Sosnovska.

So much for Olga then.

Know of any good UK TV episode sites?

These are a real pain in the arse to sort out. A Mind To Kill is another bugger, if you can suggest something.
Thanx

entry 6447
According to imdb the Swedish actress in this ep is one Ulricha Johnson. She is NOT , alas, the same person as Ulrika Jonsson, the Swedish born UK TV presenter who appeared in "Shooting Stars", and who has lived in the UK since childhood.

Sorry man.I have tried...If she was unlisted in the broadcast end credits, I very much doubt that we will find out who she is.

Not to pick on the helpers (again), but Kenny's update
has some awfully weird punctuation:

"The beautiful Ms Tomelty plays an Oxford Professor with
sidelines in writing detective novels and amateur
sleuthing.Talk about your cliches! It IS very good
nonetheless."

There are no spaces after most of the punctuation marks.

I will fix up the entry, but be careful to check long
updates for spelling/punctuation oddities.

Hoooo!
I entered that one directly after watching it on CBC channel.
Are you sure you'd previously that ep?
Or was she in another one?

As for the series in general,
I'll have to look up the references. And get back to you.

Hey man,
I do not know about "previously" but prior to posting I searched the database for both the title and the actress and neither showed up......?My entry was a tad longer than yours, making mention of the location, the wire used in the hog tie and the poor DiD's fate.....?

A Mind To Kill- Reference
Kenny:
Here's from Reference Post's, one that's incomplete and being sorted that you can have a go at.

BTW: I don't collect,
but figure I recall who all got this one to ask if you need any additional info.

"There is another episode with a scene,
lady tied hands behind, no gag, in last 15mins.

Here is the guest cast list:
Sharon Morgan (as Margaret Edwards), Delyth Wyn (as Mari Davis), Huw Chiswell (as Ben Davis), Rhian Morgan (as Non Jones), Ifan Huw Dafydd (as Dai Jones), Melanie Walters (as Ruth), Jeremi Cockram (as Carmen Pritchard), Ray Gravell (as Tal Evans), Clare Issac (as Kitty), Dewi Savage (as Osi), Gareth Morris (as Alwyn Dobbs), Glyn Ellis (as Haydn Harrier), Beth Morris (as Bei Pritchard)

All I got,
Believe the lady, character Ruth. or Melanie Walters Have yet to find an image of her to confirm. again any assist appreciated.

> Episodes I've ruled out:
> ep: "Black Silence"
> ep: "Son Of His Works"
> ep: "Game Boys"
> ep: "Rest Not Secure

Add,
ep: Strange Territory
ep: Bloodline
ep: Shadow Falls

Add this here as well Kenny:
The twit sings "Happy Birthday" to people before killing them.

Ringing any bells?
Thanx

"Not to pick on the helpers (again),"

Weeell,
even though done in Joel Quennville style,
figure we all realise the "helper" mentioned. ;)

"some awfully weird punctuation:

Mea Culpa
Missed that one.

In my defence,
was planning on getting around to sorting some of the descriptions down the road. Just prioritised Titles & Actresses ahead of it.
(I know, I know, you're thinking "Riiggghhht Buddy!") ;)

BTW: On this,
Know all about (figure the fella from Singapore?), using "arm behind back" and such. Planning to sort that out as well.

I cleaned up spacing problems in the title field and description. Keep in mind that they can affect a search ... in this case, there was no space after the colon in the film title (":The Sultan's ...").
