They don't succede, at least initially, for poor Miss Cosmos is abducted, strapped down on a table and threatened with a split personality, courtesy of a nasty laser beam. |

Record number: 4785 Title: Get Smart Medium: TV Series Actress: Barbara Feldon Description: Episode: "The Day They Raided The Knights" (4.15) In the start of the episode "99" is captured while snooping around a warehouse and tied to a chair. No gag. The bad guys decide to finish her off but Max rescues her. Later, Agent 99 is working undercover at a coupon redemption center which was really a KAOS front and, when she tries to contact the Chief, is captured, tied to a surfboard and placed on a conveyor belt. It was a pretty long scene in which, IMR, Feldon actually hits one of the baddies with the surfboard while tied to it. Guy alert for this scene. IMHO, it was one of the better non-gag scenes that I have viewed. |

Not much struggling, but she makes labored sounds as she breathes, as though the gag were exceptionally tight. |

Record number: 1599 Title: X-Files, The Medium: TV Series Actress: Gillian Anderson Description: Episode: "Orison" (7.7) In the last fifteen minutes or so of this sequel to "Irresistible", Scully (Anderson) is grabbed in her house by the escaped serial killer from the previous episode. Wearing pajamas and fuzzy slippers, she's thrown to the floor and has her hands bound behind her with what appears to be a scarf (the sequence, for the most part is very dark and it's often hard to see what's going on) and is then hand-gagged before the camera cuts away. When it comes back to her, the killer is dragging her, now rather tightly cleave-gagged with a thin cloth strip, into a closet, from which she escapes by turning the doorknob with her bound hands. Then she slithers along the floor, occasionally pausing to hide from the killer as he passes through the room. Eventually she manages to slip her hands over her feet (a brief shot of her ankles suggests they aren't bound) to bring them in front. |

| WEST COAST ALERT - Univision - 9pm PST - Just caught the very end of tonight's episode. A late 30's brunette in a knee-lenght skirt was tied standing up to some sort of stone slab. Her captor was trying to rape her but the hero arrived and saved her. No gag. I did not see anything other than the last couple of minutes so I don't know how long the scene was, when it started, if there was a decent abduction scene, or if there was an earlier gag. |
