The movie opens with Art Brooks' (Barry Bostwick) male housekeeper being chloroformed and subsequently plugged. Just prior to the first hour commercial break, Kelly Moore Brooks (Eleniak), who makes for a delightful ice queen, is arrested by the gendarmes for said plugging and dragged off with her wrists cuffed behind her back. At the beginning of the second hour, she is led handcuffed (again behind her back) by a matron through an obligatory gauntlet of hardened female prisoners to a conference with her lawyer. |

Record number: 695 Title: Palmetto (1998) Medium: Movie Actress: Gina Gershon, Elizabeth Shue Description: Woody Harrelson is the protagonist here as a small time hood/writer who has an ambiguous relationship with the local police. He has a long suffering girlfriend in Gina Gershon, a sculptor in metal, who seems willing to help out no matter how strange the situation. He gets mixed up in false kidnapping masterminded by Elizabeth Shue and a dirty cop. Of course the good stuff is in the last half hour of the movie, where Gershon is bound and gagged in chair with duct tape, listening while all the final exposition is spun out. Near the very end, Elizabeth Shue, wearing a short brunette wig, is handcuffed and put into the police cruiser. |

| @1:00am CKVR Record number: 865 Title: Knight Rider Medium: TV Series Actress: Robin Dearden Description: Episode: "Give Me Liberty ... or Give Me Death" (1.15) When Liberty (Dearden) is caught overhearing the baddies' conversation, she's first handgagged, then bound and gagged with white tape. She's shown sitting on a couch as they discuss what to do with her. Then she is placed on the side of the road next to a bomb. Michael (David Hasselhoff), of course, arrives in time to save her. The next scene shows the still bound and gagged heroine seated next to him in KITT, as he teases his captive audience. The sequence begins around the 43' mark. @2:00am CKVR Record number: 1310 Title: Pacific Blue Medium: TV Series Actress: Darlene Vogel, Shana Moakler (as Shanna Moakler) Description: Episode: "Near Death" (4.19) Chris (Vogel) is taken captive by a burglar who blames her husband for his wife's death. He knocks her out and takes her back to his hideout. We see her sitting in a chair with her hands behind her back and her ankles taped together, still unconscious. He gags her with a short strip of black tape. When she comes around, she watches as her captor kills one of his confederates. The next scene begins as we see Chris through the view screen of a camcorder. The villain removes her gag so that the video of her death will be more wrenching to her husband. When the husband and other cops arrive, her ankles are untaped so she can be hauled around to the front window. The opening credits include a very short yet exciting handcuff tease with the apparently topless Monica Harper (Moakler). @6:00am Space/Imagination Record number: 986 Title: Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future Medium: TV Series Actress: Laurie Holden Description: Episode: "Gemini And Counting" (1.12) Laurie plays a cute guard who's B&G'ed by undercover agent Jessica Steen. Steen ties Laurie's wrists above her head to a fence. Laurie is then gagged with the black tie she's wearing (she plays a guard). Steen does her mission then comes back and unties Laurie. Nice scene in that cute girl B&G's an even cuter girl. @6:30am BravoC Record number: 977 Title: Hunchback of Notre Dame, The (1923) Medium: Movie Actress: Patsy Ruth Miller Description: As Esmeralda in this silent version of Hugo's classic, she's taken into the dungeon and laid on a table, then bound with a leather strap around her midsection and arms, which is hung from a chain as the vise-like boot is clamped around her left foot. She is briefly tortured while partly suspended horizontally before confessing. Later, she is carted through the streets of Paris on her way to the scaffold with her hands tied behind her to the slats of the tumbrel, which stops in front of Notre Dame so she can kneel in penance before being hanged. This is when Quasimodo (Lon Chaney) shimmies down a rope from above and carries her over his shoulder up a couple of flights of stairs to sanctuary. Noon TFC Record number: 1003 Title: Black Beauty (1971) Medium: Movie Actress: Uschi Glas (as Ursula Glas) Description: Captured by the bad guys, she's B&G in a barn (feet tied, hands behind back, over-the-mouth gag with a black bandanna). After some struggling, she manages to untie herself with some help from the horse(!). @2:00pm ShowC (Possible?) This ep is schedualed to air, but aired two weeks back. Record number: 7625 Title: Mind To Kill, A Medium: TV Series Actress: Ffion Wilkins Description: Episode: "Green Wounds" Roughly final 30mins of the episode, she's handgagged and abducted by a villain seeking revenge against her father. She is seen lying and then, later,seated in the back of his car. She is bound hands behind back, ankles together and gagged with swathes of clear Scotch/Sellotape wound around her head.There are several scenes, both day and night-time. They are all well lit, of reasonable duration, and with awesome facial close-up/reaction shots. I would advise against trying to stop and start the VCR if taping these scenes, the cutbacks are too quick and unpredictable. @7:00pm ShowC Record number: 980 Title: Hunchback, The (1997) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Salma Hayek Description: The torture scene in this version of The Hunchback of Notre Dameis probably the most explicit, with Hayek's bare foot shown in the vise as she lies shackled in an upper-half spreadeagle on a table. In another interesting twist, she is rescued twicefrom the scaffold, the first time in the standard rope-swinging manner by Quasimodo (Mandy Patinkin), the second by a band of peasants who march on the square. |

Record number: 3550 Title: Adventures of Superman (1952) Medium: TV Series Actress: Noel Neill Description: Episode: "The Jolly Roger" (4.13) Lois, Clark and Jimmy are captured by modern day pirates who won't believe them when they insist the U.S. Navy is planning on using their island for target practice. The three spend half the episode tied up (Lois and Jimmy with hands behind, Clark with hands in front for some reason). Later the pirate outfit the three with a matching ensemble of red bandanna blindfolds and blue bandanna detective gags. Lois and Jimmy are bound back to back with Clark by himself. Lois manages to slip off her gag pretty quickly and remarks upon the fact; fortunately for the good guys her blindfold stays snug as Clark frees himself and as Superman flies to the rescue. |

Record number: 6940 Title: Post Mortem: Der Nutten Mörder (1997) Medium: Movie Actress: Annette Frier, Edda Leesch, unknown Description: This story about the search for a serial killer who likes to dress call girls in kink gear, tie them up spreadeagled and then kill them is full of bondage imagery, though some of them involve dead women as you might expect in a movie about forensic investigators. The first victim, Frier, is chloroformed in a lengthy scene with lots of struggling. She's next seen tied spreadeagled to a bed in a leather boustier, wearing knee-high leather boots, but her face is obscured by a plastic bag which has been used to strangle her. Throughout the rest of the movie, the investigators spend a lot of time looking at and showing each other pictures of Frier and other victims similarly restrained. A hysterical prostitute calls out that the killer is attacking one of the women in the bordello, and the house goons break in and find the gal cuffed arms overhead (and perhaps her legs are tied as well). Her face is obscured in part by a lot fo what appears to be whipped cream, and the goon attack the john, despite the chained prostitute's protests that he's a regular customer. She's dressed in a boustier and stockings. Finally, an attractive female police investigator (Leesch) is captured by the killer and tied spreadeagled to a bed. He also cuts off her blouse to reveal a nice purple bra. This is a lengthy scene, well lit and with closeups as Leesch talks with her killer and tries to psych him out. Finally the killer wraps a plastic bag over her head to kill her. As she struggles to breathe a rescuer crashes through a window into the room. He fights with the villain and manages to break free just long enough to tear a hole in the plastic over her mouth so she can breathe. Finally he subdues the villain and frees the damsel. All the scenes in this German production are well-lit and lengthy, very generous compared to the underlit, fleeting scenes that are typical of current U.S. productions.
