Title: Clockwork Orange, A (1971)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Adrienne Corri

Description: After she falls for the old "There's been an accident, may I use your phone?" trick, she gets lifted over the shoulder of one the baddies who invade her home. He holds her standing with her hands behind as the lead baddie Alex (Malcolm McDowell) proceeds to gag her with a red ball and transparent adhesive tape, then cuts off her red pantsuit (starting at her breasts), all the while belting out a rendition of "Singing in the Rain".

The scene occurs in the first 30 minutes. Also of interest is a pop art painting of a woman who appears to be bound and gagged, seen during a second home invasion about 25' later. It's never shown in closeup, though.

Gilligan's Island: How to Be a Hero
Day: Monday March 24 2003
Time: 2:00 pm EST
Channel: TV Land
.
Record number: 68

Title: Gilligan's Island
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Dawn Wells, Tina Louise, Natalie Schafer

Description: Episode: "How to Be a Hero" (1.24)

Gilligan is depressed over his failure to rescue Mary Ann from drowning-- the Skipper saves them both. Later, Gilligan sees a headhunter on the island, but no one believes him. However, the other castaways decide to disguise the Skipper as a headhunter and allow him to "capture" them so that Gilligan can become a hero. Unfortunately, Gilligan overhears the plan.

Meanwhile, the real headhunter captures Mary Ann, Ginger and the Professor. The Howells find the threesome tied hand and foot to stakes. Frond (!) gags cover their mouths, and despite mmpphing for all they're worth, they are unable to warn the millionaire and his wife that the headhunter is behind them. It's a brief scene, but it features a long shot of the three of them-- Mary Ann is wearing her trademark short shorts, and Ginger is wearing a form-fitting dress fashioned from some item from the Minnow ("S.S. MINNOW" is prominently displayed on the skirt) in the background.
In a later scene, two more stakes have been added, and Gilligan discovers the five captives tied up. The Howells have not been gagged, but they are unable to convice Gilligan that this situation is anything other than a trick. The real headhunter returns, and Gilligan "plays along" in a mock fight scene. During the shenanigans, there is a close-up of Mary Ann, and several shots in which she is prominently featured, writhing at the stake. (Ginger remains only in long shots.) Finally, the Skipper (disguised as a headhunter) shows up, and Gilligan realizes the truth in time to send his foe into a handy campfire. After everyone has been untied, Mary Ann can be seen holding a loop of the rope.

This is from the first season of black-and-white episodes, subsequently colorized, and begins around the fifteen-minute mark.

Title: Forever Knight
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Maria Del Mar, Christina Cox

Description: Episode: "For I Have Sinned" (1.3)

Ms. Del Mar is cleavegagged and bound to the vertical beam of a cross outside a church by a psychotic who believes he's burning a witch (or sumpin' like that).

She's rescued by Nick in the ... no, I have more self-control than that. Around the 51' mark, and lasting approximately two minutes.

About 28' in, she's very briefly handgagged by a masked assailant, then womanhandled and threatened with a gun before Nick does the Knight thing.

I also caught a flashback scene with Christina Cox, her hair shorn, as an accused witch who suffers a fiery fate, bound to the stake. I may not have caught all of it, and what I viewed were closeups and head-and-shoulder shots just showing the bonds, nor do I know if there's more interspered throughout the ep. I believe I saw this imagery between the Del Mar scenes.

At one point, the bad guy orders Sydney be tied tighter and the guy apologizes to her as he puts more pressure on the ropes.

She's tied back-to-back with one guy, while the other guy is also tied to a chair in front of her. The evil ex-commie releases snakes.

Murder In My Mind
Day: Monday March 24 2003
Time: 11:15 am ET
Channel: Lifetime Movie Network
Record number: 6001

Title: Murder In My Mind (1997)
Medium: TV Movie
Actress: Nicolette Sheridan

Description: Nicolette plays an FBI agent who gets brain cells from a murder victim transplanted into her. In one scene around the 78' mark (with commercials), she has a vision of being in the back of a van with the murder. While she's lying on her back struggling, the villain covers her mouth with duct-tape which she peels off almost immediately. Since it's a psychic vision, the scene is out-of-focus and jumpy.

Memories of Midnight USA, Mon Mar 24 08:00am EST
Record number: 532

Title: Memories of Midnight (1991)
Medium: TV Movie
Actress: Jane Seymour

Description: Once upon a time, Sidney Sheldon's novel "Memories of Midnight" was made into a looong TV movie starring Jane Seymour.

She is bound to a chair and snugly overgagged in a boiler room. The boiler has been rigged to blow up within a few minutes. She struggles for all she's worth and not surprisingly manages to get loose just in time.

The sequence lasts about three minutes, and to be safe I'd say it's within the last forty minutes. I saw it on USA, airing with "themed" filler material, and it popped with about 33' left. It may begin later in a LIFETIME or other network presentation.
