Record number: 858 Title: Belle de Jour (1967) Medium: Movie Actress: Catherine Deneuve Description: She plays a bored wife who drifts into prostitution, and as a result of her guilt, is shown imagining herself being punished by her husband in her dreams. In the first such episode, at the beginning of the film, she is driven out into the country by her husband, then forced out of the car and marched toward the woods, while her hands are being tied and she's being wrap-gagged with a scarf. Her hands are tied over her head to a branch and the gag is pulled down, along with her blouse in back, and at her husband's behest, two men proceed to horsewhip her. In the second scene, she's shown standing with her wrists tied to a railing-one up, one down, like a statue-in a white dress, while her husband and another man throw mud on her and call her names. In the final scene, her husband and another man, each holding a pistol, stand back to back and start pacing away as if they are dueling, but when they stop, they turn toward the camera and fire. The camera then quickly pans around to show Deneuve standing tied to a tree, blood dripping from a head wound. |

Beware as there are some serious scenes in which she is beaten and/or violently threatened by her jealous boyfriend. |

They are carried bound across the pirates' shoulders. At the shore they are deposited on the beach where they are laid on their backs among the loot. They struggle and one refuses to drink wine. They are rescued. Later, Maureen O'Hara is abducted by a pirate suitor. She is forced into a carriage while gagged with her own shawl. From the position of her arms it seems they are bound and her legs probably are too. In the final sequence, after she is forced to masquerade as her abductor's wife, another pirate seizes her as a hostage. Since she is seized from bed, she is wearing a nightgown. She is tied in a cabin with her hands behind her, her bindings also being fastened to some piece of furniture. She struggles mightily. |

Record number: 4912 Title: Coroner, The (1999) Medium: Movie Actress: Jane Longenecker Description: The movie's opening scenes involve a scene where Emma is seen strait-jacketed in a padded cell. Shortly thereafter, Emma (played by Ms. Longnecker) has been captured by the title character, and is tied spreadeagled (arms next to head) on a padded table, similar to a doctor's table. Her arms are held by her wrists via leather straps; I'm assuming her legs are restrained the same. She is also wearing a seatbelt around her pelvis. No gag, but she is wearing a schoolgirl-like outfit - cropped white shirt, a plaid skirt, and pigtails (I'm assuming she was put in this outfit by the bad guy. She does some decent struggling, and bites her arm trying to remove one of the leather straps (and succeeds in removing it). She escapes into the rest of the house/building/etc, only to be captured again. This time she is restrained with handcuffs, sitting up (no other restraints appear to be used). Some unpleasant scenes follow (a finger is removed?). Some flashbacks, and we return to the same scene...and after some dialog, he breaks her wrist. She passes out, and he releases her (and we see the handcuffs were the cheap kind, with the emergency release button). He picks her up to carry her to the table/chair, and low and behold she's awake! She attempts another escape, this time successfully. Unfortunately, she gets hit by a car and awakens in a hospital, her hands tied to the bed (because she was trying to remove her IV). Later, she attempts to break into the coroner's place, and is captured by the coroner, so he ties her to the chair and handcuffs her, calls the police, and she is arrested. Towards the end of the movie, after capturing the coroner, her boyfriend walks in on them. He handcuffs one of her wrists to the stairs. After some climactic events, she breaks the stairs to get free. During this scene she is wearing an athletic bra and some plaid shorts. The ending of this scene fades back to the same original straightjacketed scene, without explaining why she got there. |

Several minutes later, after failing in an attempt to attract the attention of a passerby, she struggles with him and he wrap-gags her with a tan strip of leather or deerhide. Later she rides to another tribe's camp with him, still gagged, where they stop for the night. He ties her hands again that evening over her rather mild protests, but cuts the thong off the next night after gaining her trust. |

This happens at about 1:16 in. There is a shotgun at the door, rigged to go off if anyone opens it. The scene is switched back and forth to several times. Numerous close-ups and wondeful mmmppphing by Leelee make this scene a must-see, even for those who despise clear tapegags! Towards the end of the film (around 1:30), there's a brief scene where "Charlotte" (Jessica Bowman) is seen (in the cab of a truck) wearing a very tight dark-colored bandana cleave gag. Shot is from the head up with no ropes or restraints visible. |

She's grabbed by a native who hand-gags her, and ends up being carried off rolled up in a rug (the rolling-up isn't shown), escaping when she falls over a ledge when the rug is unrolled. Towards the end of the movie, she's abducted again by natives who want to sacrifice her by dropping her into a pit of molten lava. She's restrained by two long sticks with hooped ends, wielded by natives on either side of her, as a glowing "crown" apparently made of red-hot rock tries to lower itself onto her. Incidentally, neither the 1937 nor 1950 film versions of this story contain any bondage or bondagelike scenes. |

The two chief females are Nicollette Sheridan (Agent 3.14) and Stephanie Romanov (Barbara Dahl) who get themselves variously tied and fettered in the cause of a good story. The evil General Rancor (played by Andy Griffith, with detachable arms) has Barbara fettered, first to a rocket, then to a dungeon-like wall (in five scenes spread throughout the film), later again to the rocket, and Agent WD40 (Neilsen) has but 36 hours to release the captive before she is blasted into space. Along the way Agent 3.14 gets herself captured and strapped down to a gurney. In the end the General is blasted off himself thanks to our intrepid hero. No gags. |

Cute woman, but a lttle on the heavy side.Seems to enjoy being tied up. Happens in first 20 minutes. I hope some one caps this? |
