| This feature-length episode of the precursor of the "LEXX" TV series does not feature Eva Habermann in bondage nearly as much as did other episodes, but I defy anyone to watch this and not conclude that she is quintessentially 'The Bomb'. |

Record number: 1046 Title: Lexx: The Series aka Tales from a Parallel Universe Medium: TV Series Actress: Lisa Hines, Ellen Dubin, Eva Habermann Description: Episode: "I Worship His Shadow" (1.1) Hines is one of a group of prisoners being transported to trial on a spaceship, shackled in standing spreadeagles to vertical slabs. When they arrive, the slabs are carried on a conveyor through an automated courtroom. She watches in horror as the prisoner in front of her is executed by being ground into meat. After being sentenced to be changed into a "love slave", her slab moves into a room where it lays her on her back under an apparatus which begins lowering itself onto her. Back in the courtroom, the system malfunctions just as Dubin's case comes up; she is rescued by rebellious prisoners just before reaching the whirring blades of the grinder. The cause of the problem, a large wormlike creature, finds its way to the room where Hines is being transformed and disables the robot controlling the process. As a result, Hines is changed into Habermann, who frees herself from the slab by pulling her wrist shackles out of their mounts. |
