Record number: 1013 Title: Ghost in the Invisible Bikini, The (1966) Medium: Movie Actress: Deborah Walley Description: In a scene clearly inspired by Linda Evans' performance in Beach Blanket Bingo the previous year -- in which Walley also appeared, incidentally -- she's grabbed by the baddies and tied with rather elaborate ropework to a log on a buzzsaw conveyor and overgagged with a scarf. During the climactic group fight scene that follows, the heroes and villains take turns pulling the lever that reverses the conveyor's direction, resulting in the log reaching the saw four times, showering Walley with sawdust, before she is rescued. Action occurs in the second half. |

She's shown sitting on a couch as they discuss what to do with her. Then she is placed on the side of the road next to a bomb. Michael (David Hasselhoff), of course, arrives in time to save her. The next scene shows the still bound and gagged heroine seated next to him in KITT, as he teases his captive audience. The sequence begins around the 43' mark. |

| A rare second chance this year to grab the first-ever Oscar-winning bondage scenes. Usually TCM only runs this film once annually in the spring as part of its Academy Awards commemoration. One caveat: TV Guide reports they're going to show the awful 1983 made-for-television version with Lindsay Wagner in the lead role, but I think that's very unlikely. |

At the film's climax half an hour later, wearing the same outfit but now not handcuffed, she's led blindfolded to the gas chamber and strapped in. After the pellets drop, there are several shots of her writhing and struggling before she loses consciousness. |

I can't tell whether her ankles are bound. Goodly bit of vocalization. @9:00pm CITY Record number: 6391 Title: Virus (1999) Medium: Movie Actress: Joanna Pacula, Jamie Lee Curtis Description: Two well-known actresses in simple bondage. Joanna Pacula gets tied up with her wrists in front. Jamie Lee Curtis is tied up standing hands over head and gets tortured. Nobody gets gagged. |
