Unfortunately Lea Thompson gets ungagged almost immediately, and Sofia Milos a few moments later. The episode is filled with cheesy bondage cliches as the neighbor unties them. At the very end, there's a flashback that shows how they got tied up, but it doesn't show them getting gagged. |

| @2:00am Space/Imagination Record number: 1328 Title: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Medium: TV Series Actress: Alexandra Johnes, Charisma Carpenter Description: Episode: "School Hard" (2.3) Outside the Bronze nightclub the vampire Spike (James Marsters in his first appearance on the show) charms bad girl Sheila Martini (Johnes) into leaving with him. She's next seen at his lair standing/suspended with her wrists bound over her head and tightly cleave-gagged by a thick white cloth. She's wearing a black sleeveless blouse. She's left that way for an extended period while Spike talks with his feeble vampire lover Drusilla (Juliet Landau). The scene ends when he cuts Sheila down and hands her to Drusilla, begging her to "eat something". As an added bonus to this very nice scene, Drusilla's vintage dolls (including her precious Miss Emily) appear and they all have dark cloth over the mouth gags on. Meanwhile, Cordelia (Carpenter) and Willow witness the transformation. Cordelia nearly screams, but Willow handgags her so she doesn't give away their location. Ms. Johnes' scene starts around the 25' mark, Ms. Carpenter's is about 38' in. @9:00pm CHCH Record number: 1301 Title: Black Light (1998) Medium: Movie Actress: Tahnee Welch Description: Playing a blind clairvoyant mixed up in a murder investigation, Raquel's daughter is knocked unconscious near the end of the movie by the bad guy, who lays her beside a swimming pool and ties her wrists (in front) and ankles with striped yellow cord, then tosses her into the water. This scene mirrors another one near the film's beginning, where Welch's character attempts suicide soon after being blinded in an accident, by wrapping a weighted cable around herself and jumping into the pool. |

After the commercial, she's still tied and gagged while as she is dragged into a saloon where the bad guys try to sell her. The gag is removed around the 25min mark, but she's shown with her hands tied for a few more minutes as the hero comes to her rescue. I did a quick scan of the rest of the movie and there didn't appear to be anything else. |

Venna is handgagged in a dark corn field at about 1:12 into the movie. She is held captive in a hotel room, tied to a chair, and gagged with clear tape that is wrapped around her mouth several times. This happens at about 1:16 in. There is a shotgun at the door, rigged to go off if anyone opens it. The scene is switched back and forth to several times. Numerous close-ups and wondeful mmmppphing by Leelee make this scene a must-see, even for those who despise clear tapegags! Towards the end of the film (around 1:30), there's a brief scene where "Charlotte" (Jessica Bowman) is seen (in the cab of a truck) wearing a very tight dark-colored bandana cleave gag. Shot is from the head up with no ropes or restraints visible. |

It turns out that the PO box has a parcel containing a stolen gem in it. As currently seen on TV their are three short scenes: 1) Lois led, bound and detective gagged, down some steps to a waiting car; 2) Lois sitting in the car b&g'd and 3) Lois being led from the car into a small airplane to be transported to the crooks' mountain hideout, still b&g'd. According to some sources, two minutes were edited out of the original episode (the better to cram more ads into a half hour show) which eliminated a scene where a policeman assists the bad guys to jump start the car, while Lois lies b&g'd on the floor of the back seat. |
