They are tied back-to-back to a pole and gagged with blue bandanna cleaves. The bad guys' tunneling has caused gas to fill the basement where they are bound, so unless the pair are rescued, they'll die from asyphyxia. Several good closeups, in a lengthy scene. |

KPTV is the 'FOX' channel in Portland, OR., so CYLL to see if other affiliates are showing this gem elsewhere in the country. I suppose a commercial channel is bound to cut some of Angie E.'s best stuff as described in the DB entry, but in that there doesn't seem to be any full nudity, I'm hoping that the scenes will remain largely intact. |

Record number: 6791 Title: Garden of Evil (1998) aka Silent Screams; Gardener, The Medium: Movie Actress: Sara Peterson, Angie Everhart Description: Kelly (Everhart) is a cop who suspects Ben Carter (the caretaker of a local nursery played by Malcolm McDowell) is behind the disappearance of her partner Iris. Approx. 8 minutes: If it counts Iris (Peterson) is briefly gagged with a gun shoved down her throat during an unrelated drug bust. Approx. 73 minutes: A sleeping Kelly awakens to feel something moving under her blanket. The blanket is stripped away to reveal her wearing panties and a t-shirt while restrained by thick vines restraining her above the chest, below the chest, at her waist and thighs. More vines wrap around her hands and cleave gag her. As she struggles/mmmphs gigantic flower petals emerge from her bed and drag her in. She awakens realizing it was a nightmare. Approx. 80 minutes: Ben gives Kelly tea that is drugged. She wakes up on a large table covered with flowers. She's nude with her "naughty bits" covered by flower petals. Her arms are spread at her waist, restrained by padlocked leather shackles. Her legs are together but untied. She struggles against the restraints and hyperventilates. Coming to her senses she rubs her ear against her shoulder until her pierced hook earring comes off, picks it up with her mouth, and spits it into her hand. She uses it to pick one of her wrist padlocks until Ben comes into the room. Ben gloats and explains her fate, a very convoluted way of telling her she's going to be fertilizer for his garden. During this Ben runs his hand down her stomach, approaching the huge pile covering her crotch. Kelly's responses alternate between anger and a quivering fear that verges on the edge of tears, accompanied by struggling. He reveals Iris' corpse to her, lying on another table in the same position as her though unbound, and proceeds to perform some kind of brief surgery to her. This brings Kelly even closer to tears. Ben then reveals the frozen corpse of another woman to her. Ben leaves promising her a surprise when he returns. She immediately resumes picking one of her wrist padlocks. She unlocks it just as Ben returns holding a large scythe. He starts to cut her with it, but she pushes him back with her free hand and knocks him to the floor. In this time she frees her other hand and finds some clear plastic to cover her body with. Again Ben tries to kill her and she knocks him off balance, allowing her time to escape. No gag, but the imagery, duration and struggle more than make up for it. |

After he gives her a shot to the head and drops her, he takes off his tie to bind her hands with. We next see the lady inside a jail cell, with her wrists bound in front with two plastic ties. No gag. |

He gets mixed up in false kidnapping masterminded by Elizabeth Shue and a dirty cop. Of course the good stuff is in the last half hour of the movie, where Gershon is bound and gagged in chair with duct tape, listening while all the final exposition is spun out. Near the very end, Elizabeth Shue, wearing a short brunette wig, is handcuffed and put into the police cruiser. |

Scene last for a few seconds, so you may want to tape it. |
