Fishburne also beats her unconscious (again, consensually) to "make it look good" I guess. On screen tying but the beating and the blood ruined it for me. @7:30am BravoC Record number: 2190 Title: Thief of Bagdad, The (1940) Medium: Movie Actress: June Duprez Description: Back in the days when Technicolor was a special effect, Prince Achmad (John Justin) has been blinded and cast into a dungeon as a captive of the wicked Grand Vizier Jaffar (gee, where have we heard that name before?). He meets Abu the Thief (played by Sabu), son of Abu the Thief, grandson of Abu the Thief who helps him escape and go on a series of adventures involving genies, flying horses, flying carpets and a beautiful princess (Duprez). What the beateous Duprez sees in that wimp of a prince eludes me, but they get captured by Jaffar and are bound spreadeagled in a dungeon. At the end of the film, Duprez is led out onto a parapet with her wrists bound behind her, before Achmed finishes off the evil Vizier. @Noon ShowC Record number: 3413 Title: Queen Of Swords Medium: TV Series Actress: Tessie Santiago Description: Episode: "Death To The Queen" (1.2) Wearing her slinky swordswoman costume, Tessa is tied to a pole and menaced by a bad guy. @1:00pm BravoC Record number: 14 Title: Jamaica Inn (1939) Medium: Movie Actress: Maureen O'Hara Description: Bound, wrists behind the back, and gagged on-screen with silk handkerchiefs near the end of the movie. Many, many close-ups (including a great one while she is being gagged) in this long, classic scene. |

Record number: 6108 Title: Matthew Blackheart: Monster Smasher (2000) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Karen Elkin Description: Around the last twenty minutes (with commercials), Nancy, after having been captured by a vamp (grabbed by the neck, naught else), is heard mmmphing from somewhere in her boudoir. The hero pops in, tosses his host into a wall, then hears the captive's muffled entreaties. He opens a panel on the side of a desk, and Nancy slides out, bound hands in front and gagged with one of the snuggest overs I've seen in a while, mmmphing to beat the band. A short but attractive scene in an otherwise forgettable movie, in my opinion. |
