She's clamped to the side of some machine (diabolically designed, no doubt), fettered arms above and ankles below. Rufus rescues her and Ron, who's made a mess of his hero turn and finds himself in the same predicament. Much screen time, with the sequence lasting for about eight minutes with a lengthy DISNEY promo break. |

| @6:00am Space/Imagination Record number: 986 Title: Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future Medium: TV Series Actress: Laurie Holden Description: Episode: "Gemini And Counting" (1.12) Laurie plays a cute guard who's B&G'ed by undercover agent Jessica Steen. Steen ties Laurie's wrists above her head to a fence. Laurie is then gagged with the black tie she's wearing (she plays a guard). Steen does her mission then comes back and unties Laurie. Nice scene in that cute girl B&G's an even cuter girl. @11:00am CHCH Record number: 68 Title: Gilligan's Island Medium: TV Series Actress: Dawn Wells, Tina Louise, Natalie Schafer Description: Episode: "How to Be a Hero" (1.24) Gilligan is depressed over his failure to rescue Mary Ann from drowning-- the Skipper saves them both. Later, Gilligan sees a headhunter on the island, but no one believes him. However, the other castaways decide to disguise the Skipper as a headhunter and allow him to "capture" them so that Gilligan can become a hero. Unfortunately, Gilligan overhears the plan. Meanwhile, the real headhunter captures Mary Ann, Ginger and the Professor. The Howells find the threesome tied hand and foot to stakes. Frond (!) gags cover their mouths, and despite mmpphing for all they're worth, they are unable to warn the millionaire and his wife that the headhunter is behind them. It's a brief scene, but it features a long shot of the three of them-- Mary Ann is wearing her trademark short shorts, and Ginger is wearing a form-fitting dress fashioned from some item from the Minnow ("S.S. MINNOW" is prominently displayed on the skirt) in the background. In a later scene, two more stakes have been added, and Gilligan discovers the five captives tied up. The Howells have not been gagged, but they are unable to convice Gilligan that this situation is anything other than a trick. The real headhunter returns, and Gilligan "plays along" in a mock fight scene. During the shenanigans, there is a close-up of Mary Ann, and several shots in which she is prominently featured, writhing at the stake. (Ginger remains only in long shots.) Finally, the Skipper (disguised as a headhunter) shows up, and Gilligan realizes the truth in time to send his foe into a handy campfire. After everyone has been untied, Mary Ann can be seen holding a loop of the rope. This is from the first season of black-and-white episodes, subsequently colorized, and begins around the fifteen-minute mark. @1:00pm CKVR Record number: 4907 Title: Avengers, The (1998) Medium: Movie Actress: Uma Thurman Description: The big-budget version of the classic cult series from Britain has one strait-jacket scene with Uma Thurman as Ms. Peel, about an hour into the film. The jacket used is very nice (canvas-and-brown-leather with neck, wrist, and 2 crotch straps), but it's not tied very tightly, and the scene itself is only about 30 seconds long. @9:00pm ShowC Record number: 3130 Title: Da Vinci's Inquest Medium: TV Series Actress: Unknown Description: Episode: "Reality" (2.13) In the second part of the Fantasy episode, Matt Frewer's character hires another prostitute, to tie and ball gag. Short scene, as detective (Ian Tracey) is watching him, and comes storming in to the rescue, as Matt is tying and gagging her. She's wearing a black fetish body-suit. @10:00pm ShowC Record number: 5954 Title: Quills (2000) Medium: Movie Actress: Kate Winslet, Diana Morrison Description: At the beginning of the film, Morrison, as a French Description: At the beginning of the film, Morrison, as a French noblewoman in one of the Marquis de Sade's stories, has her hands tied behind her with a leather thong as a prerequisite to being laid beneath the guillotine's blade, while the author (Geoffrey Rush) narrates off-camera. Then, at about an hour and 18 minutes, Madeleine (Winslet) is shown standing ungagged, tied by her outstretched wrists to a frame in the courtyard of the insane asylum where the Marquis is confined. Before a large crowd of onlookers, and as the asylum's superintendent (Michael Caine) and others look on approvingly from an upstairs window, she's whipped as punishment for smuggling de Sade's writings out of the institution. Madeleine is also hand-gagged several times during a struggle with a patient who attempts to rape her during a performance of a de Sade play about midway through the movie. On the DVD's commentary track, author Doug Wright, who wrote both the screenplay and the stage play upon which it was based, makes some rather interesting comments about the whipping scene. He notes that Winslet was wearing a plastic prosthetic back which was capable of raising welts and bleeding, but this effect was cut from the final release because it was considered too graphic. While assuring viewers that Winslet's back was protected during the whipping, he also points out, "Nevertheless, when it was over, she was wincing a bit from the pain." @11:00pm TFO (Possible?) Furia Possible bound and cleave-gagged scene in this one. |

In the first scene, Alexandra is tied back-to-back with Dan Ackroyd, not gagged. Second scene, during the soirée at the porn palace, three women (the golden-begowned greeter seen a little earlier and two suited and turbaned staff) are briefly shown being led along, hands tied behind and cleavegagged. Last, Alexandra is tied up in the cabin of an airplane, with a white cloth cleave-gag. Good closeup, and good mmmphing, but a short scene. |
