Record number: 8160 Title: Boomtown Medium: TV Series Actress: Anne Judson-Yager Description: Episode: "Coyote" (1.9) About 37 minutes in, two teenage bad guys launch their plan to kidnap the girl next door, a cute blonde named Rebecca (Judson-Yager). They knock her out with a blow and begin dragging her toward their van. One of the kidnappers is killed by a good samaritan, but the other lifts Rebecca into the van and makes his escape. A moment later, we see her lying on a cellar floor, gagged and bound (hands behind, ankles together) with duct tape. Her captor stands over her and tells her about the "fun" he's planning to have. The moment he goes upstairs to make some preparations, she squirms her way over to the wall and finds a protruding nail, which she uses to free her hands. She gets the drop on the bad guy and knocks him out, but just as she is about to escape through the front door, he catches her, handgags her, and drags her back into the house. In the final sequence, we see Rebecca standing between two posts, to which her wrists are chained and padlocked. She is still gagged. The bad guy approaches her with a nasty power tool. She kicks him in the crotch -- and since he was already injured there during the abduction, that's enough to incapacitate him until the cops kick down the door. The sequence is over by the 50-minute mark. Quality scene, with nice close-ups and great emoting by the actress. |

Record number: 1953 Title: Pony Soldiers (1952) Medium: Movie Actress: Penny Edwards Description: Emerald Neeley (Ms. Edwards) is captured by Crees, along with a man. I don't know if there's a grabbing scene, but at around the 25' mark (in the AMC airing), she's shown being freed by hero Tyrone Power. She's inside a tent at the camp. The scene is very brief. She's bitgagged, and Power is just cutting her wrist bonds (behind her back) when the cut is made to the tent. She removes the gag, and that's pretty much it. Later, about 70' in, recalcitrant members of the Cree nation grab her again and whisk her off. We see her again bitgagged (appearing to be made of leather, secured by a cord wrapped around the ends) and bound wrists behind. After a long march, they bind her ankles over her flowing skirt, and build a fire to immolate her. Power, a Cree chief, and a Cree boy save the day. |

| @12:05am CFTO Record number: 1708 Title: Spy Who Loved Me, The (1977) Medium: Movie Actress: Barbara Bach Description: James Bond Movie Russian Spy "Agent Triple X" has been captured by the bad guys and taken to Atlantis, their floating city on the sea. Our favorite Russian spy is bound to an interesting type of chair, with her arms behind it's back, and her thighs and shins strapped to the elongated seat, but she isn't gagged. Agent XXX is quite the looker, but not much happens in this scene. Ms. Bach is wearing of pair of red suede boots. @4:00pm CKVR Record number: 5418 Title: Lost World, The Medium: TV Series Actress: Rachel Blakely Description: Episode: "A Man Of Vision" (2.21) In the first 15 minutes of the episode, Rachel Blakely is tied to a tree (hands behind). She isn't gagged and unfortunately two of the male cast members are in the same predicament. Scene does include one closeup of her hands which are bound quite nicely. @7:00pm CKVR Record number: 5230 Title: Immortal, The (2000) Medium: TV Series Actress: April Telek Description: Episode: "Spy Vs. Spa" (1.17) In a sillier-than-usual ep centering on a Cold War flashback, Ms. Telek, in black wig and Hungarian accent, is seen around the 40' mark being hustled out of a room, and about five minutes later is shown overgagged with a patterned scarf and chained arms raised over a vat of "the waters of Hell". After being rescued, the scarf remains around her neck through the rest of the sequence, which lasts about five minutes. |
