Fear not, in the end, no one is left hanging around (a little gallows humor). The sequence begins with around fifteen minutes left in the 135' film. |

Record number: 255 Title: Raiders Of The Lost Ark (1981) Medium: Movie Actress: Karen Allen Description: About halfway into the movie, Marion Ravenwood (Allen) is nabbed by the evil Nazis. Later hero Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) stumbles upon her in a Bedouin tent, cleave gagged with a sodden hankerchief, her wrists bound behind her back and around the center pole which supports the tent's roof. Indy ungags her and they have a tender reunion (he thought she was dead) but then rethinks the situation and decides to regag her much to her understandable (and vocal) dismay. Later, she is seen in the same predicament, briefly, as she tries to squirm away from one of the villians who unties her. In these scenes she's wearing slacks and a white and red patterned blouse. Towards the end of the film, Marion and Indy are tied to a stake back to back while the Nazis prepare to open the Ark. The ropes, curiously, tie their left wrists to the corresponding right one of their partner. When the spirits of the Ark are released, they destroy the Nazis and burn through the heroes bindings, leaving them unscathed. In the latter scene, Marion is wearing a white satin cocktail dress. |

Record number: 8160 Title: Boomtown Medium: TV Series Actress: Anne Judson-Yager Description: Episode: "Coyote" (1.9) About 37 minutes in, two teenage bad guys launch their plan to kidnap the girl next door, a cute blonde named Rebecca (Judson-Yager). They knock her out with a blow and begin dragging her toward their van. One of the kidnappers is killed by a good samaritan, but the other lifts Rebecca into the van and makes his escape. A moment later, we see her lying on a cellar floor, gagged and bound (hands behind, ankles together) with duct tape. Her captor stands over her and tells her about the "fun" he's planning to have. The moment he goes upstairs to make some preparations, she squirms her way over to the wall and finds a protruding nail, which she uses to free her hands. She gets the drop on the bad guy and knocks him out, but just as she is about to escape through the front door, he catches her, handgags her, and drags her back into the house. In the final sequence, we see Rebecca standing between two posts, to which her wrists are chained and padlocked. She is still gagged. The bad guy approaches her with a nasty power tool. She kicks him in the crotch -- and since he was already injured there during the abduction, that's enough to incapacitate him until the cops kick down the door. The sequence is over by the 50-minute mark. Quality scene, with nice close-ups and great emoting by the actress. |

Hands bound behind her, and cleave gag in place, the woodsman carries her over-the-shoulder to a canoe where he plans to take her upriver. @2:00pm ShowC Record number: 2749 Title: Night Man aka NightMan Medium: TV Series Actress: Saskia Garel Description: Episode: "Keyes to the Kingdom of Hell" (2.22) Roughly 35mins into the episode, the evil henchwoman has ahold of Saskia on the screen. Her hands are cuffed in front with black leather/vinyl tie-wraps, and she's cleave-gagged with a red cloth. She's wearing a black sleeveless mini-dress. @3:00pm Space/Imagination Record number: 5451 Title: Lost World, The Medium: TV Series Actress: Jennifer O'Dell Description: Episode: "Into The Fire" (2.22) About 40 minutes into the second season's finale, "Veronica" (O'Dell) is captured by the ghost pilot of an airship. When we first see her, she's cleave gagged with a tan cloth and her hands are tied behind her back. In the next scene she's sitting on the floor and her feet are now tied as well. Soon after, "Challenger" ungags her but she remains tied for a few minutes longer. Excellent scene and most of it is well-lit. This was Jennifer O'Dell's third gag scene in the second season. @4:00pm CITY Record number: 691 Title: Police Academy: Mission to Moscow (1994) aka Police Academy 7 Medium: Movie Actress: Leslie Easterbrook Description: FINALLY, they got around to tying this big blonde up. She's wearing a nice blue corset and is hog-tied. This is a movie for kids so the scene is kind of comical, but if you like her it's quite nice. |

Record number: 2497 Title: Fargo (1996) Medium: Movie Actress: Kristin Rudrud Description: Jerry Lundegaard contracts with two crooks to kidnap his wife so he can extract a million dollars from his father-in-law. The bad guys bind Jean Lundegaard's (Rudrud) hands tightly behind her with phone cord. She's apparently gagged under a black hood, because all she does for the rest of the movie is whimper and moan. Things start to go wrong for the crooks when a policeman pulls over the bad guys' car (complete with kidnapee) because of a minor vehicle infraction. When the cop hears a moan, the bad guys kill him, then pursue and kill another driver who witnesses the murder. When the crooks arrive with their victim at their lakeside hideout, Jean breaks away and races through the woods, with her hands still bound behind her back. Unfortunately, her head is still covered by the hood, so she crashes hard into a tree. Jean is trussed to a chair with her hands bound behind her back. While one of the bad guys goes to pick up the ransom, the other guy decides he can't stand her sniveling any longer. When other bad guy returns to the hideout, he sees Jean still bound to the chair with a bullet hole in her chest. |
