Record number: 1254 Title: Crow: Stairway to Heaven, The Medium: TV Series Actress: Eva De Viveiros, Patricia Harras Description: Episode: "Dead to Rights" (1.21) At the very beginning of the episode, De Viveiros is shown lying on the floor of a warehouse with her hands tied behind her back. She's been taken captive by a serial cop killer and temporarily blinded with eye drops so he can use her as bait for the police. When an officer responds, he finds her tied standing with her hands behind her head to the front of a forklift. The killer attacks as he starts towards her. Later in the episode, Harras, playing the wife of one of the cast regulars, is grabbed by the killer, who dilates her eyes as well and duct-tapes her to a chair in the warehouse. Neither victim is gagged. |

| @11:30am CHCH Record number: 68 Title: Gilligan's Island Medium: TV Series Actress: Dawn Wells, Tina Louise, Natalie Schafer Description: Episode: "How to Be a Hero" (1.24) Gilligan is depressed over his failure to rescue Mary Ann from drowning-- the Skipper saves them both. Later, Gilligan sees a headhunter on the island, but no one believes him. However, the other castaways decide to disguise the Skipper as a headhunter and allow him to "capture" them so that Gilligan can become a hero. Unfortunately, Gilligan overhears the plan. Meanwhile, the real headhunter captures Mary Ann, Ginger and the Professor. The Howells find the threesome tied hand and foot to stakes. Frond (!) gags cover their mouths, and despite mmpphing for all they're worth, they are unable to warn the millionaire and his wife that the headhunter is behind them. It's a brief scene, but it features a long shot of the three of them-- Mary Ann is wearing her trademark short shorts, and Ginger is wearing a form-fitting dress fashioned from some item from the Minnow ("S.S. MINNOW" is prominently displayed on the skirt) in the background. In a later scene, two more stakes have been added, and Gilligan discovers the five captives tied up. The Howells have not been gagged, but they are unable to convice Gilligan that this situation is anything other than a trick. The real headhunter returns, and Gilligan "plays along" in a mock fight scene. During the shenanigans, there is a close-up of Mary Ann, and several shots in which she is prominently featured, writhing at the stake. (Ginger remains only in long shots.) Finally, the Skipper (disguised as a headhunter) shows up, and Gilligan realizes the truth in time to send his foe into a handy campfire. After everyone has been untied, Mary Ann can be seen holding a loop of the rope. This is from the first season of black-and-white episodes, subsequently colorized, and begins around the fifteen-minute mark. @8:30pm CITY Record number: 1473 Title: General's Daughter, The (1999) Medium: Movie Actress: Leslie Stefanson Description: She's the title character, an Army captain discovered murdered about 20 minutes in. She lies nude on her back, tied spreadeagled to tent pegs driven into the ground. Her panties are wrapped around her neck, secured by a thin rope. About an hour later, she's shown in a flashback scene being stripped and tied to the ground in a similar fashion, as an acquaintance relates the story of her having been gang-raped during an exercise when she was a West Point cadet. About fifteen minutes after that, the events leading up to the murder are shown in another flashback sequence in which she's shown tied down nude again, but still alive. She is not gagged in any of the scenes. @10:00pm ShowC Record number: 90 Title: Cell, The (2000) Medium: Movie Actress: Glenda Chism, Jennifer Dawn Day, Alanna Vicente, Aja Echols, Vanessa Branch, Elena Maddalo, unknowns Description: About 45 minutes in, Catherine Deane (Lopez) comes upon a set of surreal tableaux of the victims of a serial killer whose mind she's entered. One is shown kneeling tied hands-over head, another lashed to a dental chair with rubber tubing with a wire brace propping her mouth open, and a third, wearing a doll mask, is strung up like a marionette. Seconds later she comes upon one done up as a pony girl, complete with a bit in her mouth, and another (played by Chism, who had appeared earlier in the film and is the only bound actress explicitly creditable in the scene) who extends her bound hands forward and tries to warn Lopez of the approach of a seventh victim (played by bodybuilder Kim Chizevsky-Nicholls) who subdues her and carries her off over her shoulder, past one more tableaux of a victim standing in a ballerina-like pose, her hands tied behind her to a stick. None of the victims are gagged. |

| If you've missed this one, be sure to set the ol' VCR in the wee hours for the last 20 minutes or so. There's not much gaggage, but there are at least 3 good scenes involving our bound DiD. And Rebecca S. is a truly winsome damsel. |

They don't like her lip, so she's quickly handcuffed and tape gagged. Sitting in a boat, the blonde cutie has her wrists cuffed behind her back and is gagged on-screen with silver duct tape. (Earlier in the episode, she was cuffed to a guy). Her captor leads her through the woods to some camp. Once there, he cuffs one of her wrists to a vertical tube and then ungags her. She's left alone to deal with a bomb set to explode. BTW, she's clad in a wet uniform, wears high heels and the tape gag is really sticky! |

Record number: 6741 Title: You Belong to Me (2001) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Lesley-Anne Down aka Lesley Ann Down Description: Whodunit with a lot of false red herrings, based on a Mary Higgins Clark novel. Dr. Susan Chancellor, a psychiatrist who has her own radio show, becomes involved in the hunt for a serial killer. Towards the end, she almost makes it to the victim list. The killer sneaks into her office and knocks her unconscious. When she regains consciousness, he has tied her hands in front with cord (it looks like phone cord), some additional loops around her neck. The baddie proceeds to wrap her in a large transparent plastic bag. He uses duct tape to seal the plastic around her feet but when she mouths off, instead of tape gagging her, he grabs a handkerchief and stuffs it into her mouth. He then pulls the plastic over her head and wraps duct tape around her head and arms to seal her in. Then he leaves her alone, telling her she has ten minutes left to live. Some struggling follows, especially when her phone rings and she knocks it off the desk to alert the caller of her predicament. She is found just in time. Despite the sloppy gag an impressive scene, well lit and with closeups. Ms. Down still makes an attractive damsel. She is wearing a light blue sweater and grey slacks. Ms. Down herself commented the scene on PAX TV's website: "This is sure to be one of my most memorable experiences on set. The calm and collected psychologist is going to have her head wrapped in plastic and I must admit I'm a bit nervous to do this scene - it will be claustrophobia at it's finest!" |
