The lead character (Julie Andrews), in search of her missing friend (Mary Tyler Moore), comes upon the fireworks warehouse where the women are being held. In the confusion that follows her setting off the fireworks, she frees one woman standing with her hands tied around a bar in front of her cage, then another lying on a bed with her hands tied behind her head. Neither Andrews nor Moore is bound during the scene, but Moore is briefly hand-gagged during a struggle. Earlier in the film there is a scene of the ringleader (Beatrice Lillie) chloroforming one of the victims. |
