They are carried bound across the pirates' shoulders. At the shore they are deposited on the beach where they are laid on their backs among the loot. They struggle and one refuses to drink wine. They are rescued. Later, Maureen O'Hara is abducted by a pirate suitor. She is forced into a carriage while gagged with her own shawl. From the position of her arms it seems they are bound and her legs probably are too. In the final sequence, after she is forced to masquerade as her abductor's wife, another pirate seizes her as a hostage. Since she is seized from bed, she is wearing a nightgown. She is tied in a cabin with her hands behind her, her bindings also being fastened to some piece of furniture. She struggles mightily. |

The film is set in Harlem, 1943 where the lead character provides for his family by playing bingo. About five minutes into the film, the protagonist goes into a theatre to watch a film noir movie. On the screen a black detective hero-type enters a room and finds a very attractive black woman (Rose) tied to a bed in an upper spreadeagle and she's cleave-gagged. She's wearing an evening gown and long gloves. The actor unties her and they start to make love. Then the guy watching the movie goes home and find his pregnant wife bound and gagged the same way as the actress in the movie. A chandelier is about to fall from the ceiling on her and a group of people are just standing around laughing. He releases her just in time. Both scenes are shot in black and white. The film features an all-black cast. |
