Record number: 1963 Title: The Gazebo (1959) Medium: Movie Actress: Debbie Reynolds Description: In the last half, Debbie is grabbed by a couple of mobsters who are looking for a blackmailer's money. They take her to her house and tie her to a chair where they threaten her with torture if she doesn't tell them where the money is (she doesn't know). After her new gazebo collapses the mobsters go outside. Debbie, still tied in the chair, hops her way over to a phone on a table and then uses her mouth to try to dial police (it's an old rotary dial phone). The phone falls off the table so she works her way down onto the floor, still tied to the chair, to continue to try to dial. The mobsters return, tip her chair over on the side, rip the phone out of the wall, then leave because they found what they came for. Her husband, the real blackmailer killer, returns home and sets her free. Unfortunately, Debbie isn't gagged. |

She is grabbed and hand-gagged. Then seen seated with the kidnapper who produces some rope. Asks what the rope is for? Gets a cheeky reply about wanting her to be comfortable. Tries to flee, but is caught. Next seen cleave-gagged with a white cloth while her hands are being bound behind her back. Few scenes with her sitting there B&G'd while kidnapper chats with her. Later, she is being marched through the woods to join Kim's character who is B&G'd in a cabin. She breaks free and runs B&G'd through the forest. She manages to elude him long enough to rub her wrists on a tree to free herself. While trying to escape out of the woods, she is handgagged, and again cleave-gagged and bound hands in front. Once again being marched to the cabin. This time while squirming around on the ground after stumbling, she manages to get ahold of a rock, and gives the kidnapper a shot in the head, flattening him. Finally freeing herself and managing to meet up with the Police. With Cherilee's information, a police officer is able to find the cabin, where Kim's character is lying on the floor, bound as she was before, and again cleave-gagged. |

| Towards the end of this half-hour episode, a Hollywood-type tribute film (of real people, not cartoons) is made of Duckman, which makes him out to be a big detective hero type. He rescues a woman who is gagged and chair-tied. Prior to the rescue, the hero tells two girlfriends to tie each other up and get each other going so they're all warmed up for him when he gets back. Had to laugh at that one. |

| As stated in the alert above, "Lexie" (played by the gorgeous RENEE JONES) will be bound and gagged on DAYS OF OUR LIVES on Monday February 11. The alert gave the address of a spoiler website that provides the details. Just to save everyone the trouble of going to the spoiler site, I copied it. Here is the relevant information:
Over at DiMansion, Lexie is ranting to Rolf about Cameron Reese not fulfilling her end of the bargain. Rolf assures her it will all work out okay. The doorbell rings…John at the door. Lexie tries to slam the door in his face, but he barges his way in. She is sure he is up to something and agrees to listen to what he has to say. She turns her back on him (big mistake) and he puts a “sleeper” on her, saying “This won’t hurt much…I think” (LOL) The next time we see them, he has her gagged and is tying her to a chair. Rolf sneaks up on him with a wine bottle raised, but John kicks him in the chest, rendering him unconscious. Aliana comes rushing in yelling that John killed Rolf, to which he replies “I should have done that years ago”. Aliana rants as John makes her sit down or threatens to do the same to her. They hear Isaac cry and John goes for him, with Aliana yelling for him not to hurt the baby. John returns with a vial, telling Lexie that it’s Isaac’s DNA (as Aliana is untying her). Lexie threatens to tell Abe, but he knows she won’t, because DiMeras don’t talk. Rolf comes to as John is leaving and asks what happened. A furious Lexie says that John has gone crazy. Rolf says that the “old John” has returned and he is afraid that their world will never be the same again…and the credits roll. Here is some information about time changes from the NBC website: The Olympics are coming to NBC...and as a result there will be some changes to the daytime lineup. ... certain stations will be airing "Days" at different times from Monday, February 11--Friday, February 22.
