Record number: 1056 Title: In Cold Blood (1967) Medium: Movie Actress: Brenda Currin, Ruth Storey Description: They play the female half of a real-life Kansas farm family accosted in the middle of the night by robbers. First the daughter (Currin) and then the mother (Storey) are shown being hogtied in their beds in rather dark, closely cropped scenes (neither is gagged), after the father and son have been taken downstairs and tied up. Later one of the robbers comes into Currin's bedroom and begins fondling her as though he's planning to rape her; this film having been made when it was, the scene isn't very explicit. The sequence ends with powerful scenes of Currin reacting to the sound of the gunshots as the robbers do away with the other members of her family one by one, leaving her for last. |

(3.14) Lois is captured by Tempus, who perils her the oldfashioned way: her hands are bound behind, she's blindfolded, and placed on a precarious ledge of a tall building (the kind her main squeeze likes to leap). This occurs around the 30 minute mark. A false step, and she plummets, which she proceeds to do. Gravity being what it is, all looks lost, until . . . Clark saves her, only it's not Clark. Well, it *is*, but see . . . (Did I mention this takes place in a parallel dimension?) Later, around 45' in, one of Tempus' goons holds her arms from behind, and there's video of the above scene to boot. |

Instead, the figure turns out to be Penny (Hatcher) dressed as Murdock, cleave gagged, with her hands tied in front to the porch railing, the rifle tied to her arms. And now it's Murdock's turn to sneak up behind Mac . . . . |

Naturally, in desperation she gets the gag off, and calls Brain, who promptly heads for the basement and unites Penny. She is about to untie the scientist, when she hears the footsteps of MAD agents. You don't get to see two bad guys gloat over one damsel too often. She is later is "rescued" by another man. Still strapped to the table she says, "Oh, thank you sir. Another few minutes and I would have told him everything I know." To which the non-hero replies, "Yesss. Well, now you can tell me!" . . . drip . . drip . . . drip . . . ___________ @9:00pm CKVR Record number: 6628 Title: Glory Days (2002) Medium: TV Series Actress: Theresa Russell Description: Episode: "The Devil Made Me Do It" (1.2) Mitzy Dolan puts her hand over Hazel Walker (Russell)'s mouth to prevent her from revealing the fact that she slept with Mitzy's husband. Very short scene. |
