| This episode of the FBI Files says it is about a hitch-hiker who is kept hostage for seven years. This must be the Colleen Stan "Girl in the Box" case which I've read the book about. She was subjected to ceaseless bondage and torment over the seven years, so any reenactments are sure to show this. Fingers crossed! |

In the second segment about hotel thieves who break open safety deposit boxes, a female employee is shown sitting on the ground, hands cuffed in front around a pipe and blindolded/gagged with brown tape wrapped around her head. Short scene but shot in close-up panning from miniskirted legs to head. I'm told the scene is at the beginning of the segment. I'm also informed that another sequence occurs later, of staff, almost all male, bound and gagged, as well as another of a female guest who suffers the same fate, but no really clear shots in either instance. |

| Correction from my previous post, the show is on tonight on A&E as part of the "American Justice" series. This concerns the story of Colleen Stan, who was held as a slave by her kidnapper for seven years. Through the early part of her captivity, she was kept bound and gagged in all sorts of different devices including a box under the bed and a "head box" that locked over her head and effectively silenced any screaming. I read the novel and the show may show re-enactments of some of these things. A bit different than the usual alerts here, but it might have some merit for those who enjoy seeing bound and gagged women during crime shows "re-enactments" |
