Tied up and gagged with cloth over the mouth, but a fairly short scene. Tess also endures a superb hand-gag from Splitface (Mike Mazurki) -- he interrupts her during a phone call to Tracy. First he sneaks up and grabs her, then he holds her as he taunts Tracy on the other end of the phone. Tess pants and claws at Splitface's big hand over her lovely face. Classic. There is a publicity still from this film, showing Anne Jeffreys and Jane Greer cleave gagged and menaced by Splitface. Alas, nothing like that is in the movie. |

They are bound, hands in front to ankles, and gagged over the mouth with black cloths. @3:00pm CKVR Record number: 327 Title: Pacific Blue Medium: TV Series Actress: Paula Trickey Description: Episode: "Captive Audience" (1.10) Captured during a bank robbery, she is taken along as a hostage, hands tied in front, not gagged. @5:00pm ShowC Record number: 3204 Title: La Femme Nikita Medium: TV Series Actress: Nancy Beatty, Waneta Storms Description: Episode: "Rescue" (1.11) At about the 15' mark, Ms. Beatty is shown for a bit with her wrists tied behind her in a chair. At the 35' mark or so (right after the commercial break, in the late-night airing I saw), a soldier discovers a doctor and nurse (Ms. Storms) tied back-to-back, bound with thin tubing and gagged with translucent cloth tape (her lips are visible) wrapped around their heads. The second scene lasts all of 48 frames (I counted). |
